I recently visited SHIRAZ wine gastrobar, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between cozy and sophisticated. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease, whether you’re out for a casual evening or a special occasion.

The local wine selection was truly impressive—clearly curated with care and expertise. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just starting to explore, there’s something for everyone. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations that perfectly complemented the meal.

Speaking of food, I only tried the vieiras (sea shells) and it was delicious. The dish was thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients and a creative touch that elevated the flavors beautifully. It’s clear that just as much attention is given to the kitchen as the wine.

Lastly, a special mention must go to the staff. The service was impeccable, and the waitress who served me was not only professional but also warm and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

Very disappointing and underwhelming experience at this restaurant. We were so excited to go due to their rave reviews and the pictures of the food, however it wasn’t all as praised. On arrival at the restaurant, we were greeted and then ignored whilst the server spoke to some other people who had just come in. We then were sat down and it took 20 minutes for a drinks order to be taken and another 10 minutes for the food order to be taken. We were advised to only get 2 small plates at a time as they wouldn’t all fit on the table, so we did, but then after having them cleared away, we were not approached to ask for our next order so we got the bill and left the restaurant as we did not want to wait another 20 minutes for our order to be taken. My food was disappointing and not worth the hype nor the price we paid, it was a piece of bread, with some pickled ginger and some mayo… it was nothing spectacular or exciting and the bread was quite soggy. My partner’s shrimp dish, he praised a lot higher, and said it was delicious- which made it even more of a shame that the service let this...

Cuisine fine et raffinée, belle presentation mais en (très) petite quantité. Le principe est de partager les plats. La viande de bœuf (Tataki et entrecot, pour nous) est de qualité. Donc, on nous a conseillé de prendre un plat froid et un plat chaud proposés sur la carte et de recommander ensuite. Sauf que l'attente pour avoir les plats de la 2ème commande a été relativement longue (25 minutes environ). Le restaurant etait rempli... Étant de petites quantités, la faim se faisait sentir entre les 2 services. L'accueil ne s'est pas fait en espagnol (dommage, nous sommes en vacances en Espagne parce que nous parlons espagnol....) mais bien en anglais, langue que nous ne pratiquons pas forcément couramment. L'accueil à été sympa. Nous sommes arrivé en couple et le serveur nous a placé entre 2 tables, à environ 40 cm des personnes assises. Pas top pour un dîner romantique. Chacun a son nez dans l'assiette du voisin... Et pas d'autres choix possible vu que le restaurant est très petit et l'agencement des tables n'est peut être pas optimal (peut etre y a-t-il une partie extérieure plus grande lorsque le temps le permet?) De plus, beaucoup de choses encombrent la table, déjà assez petite, pour pouvoir poser 2 plats, 2 assiettes, 2 verres et une bouteille. Le prix pour la quantité est plutôt élevé comparé aux prix moyen des restaurants espagnols. La finesse des mets le justifie-t-il ? Le nom "gastro" le justifie-t-il également? Il aurait peut être fallu proposer un "menu découverte" avec plusieurs plats pour qu'ils se suivent plus facilement sans avoir cette attente entre 2 commandes... Le choix du vin à été fait par nous sans de réels conseils. Dès lors, est-ce que c'est la quantité de références de vin qui justifie l'appellation "wine bar", pas réellement les conseils apparemment... Une bouteille d'eau plate est mise gratuitement à table. En conclusion, nous avons bien mangé mais vraiment pas assez. La promiscuité des tables et le peu de place sur celles-ci nous à dérangé. Du coup, nous n'avons pas "traînés" (pas de desserts,pas de café ou autres...), pour terminer ailleurs. Addition d'un peu plus de 80 euros pour 2, pour 4 (petits) plats (Tataki, entrecot, croquet et pollo) et une bouteille de vin (à 27,50€). Attention l'accès se fait à pied dans une jolie ruelle, pleine d'escaliers. Pas d'accès PMR (même poussettes enfants) me...
