As a vegetarian, I find Tenerife generally to be a let down for food choice- it's an island, they love fish & Spanish/Canarian food culture hugely relies on meat. Indian food never disappoints, and the quality of Curry n Grill House blew us away.
We dined on a Saturday night, and found the place to be fairly quiet (our preference). The service was fast, friendly and attentive. The menu is well-described in English. There is also a large board outside the restaurant that lists the menu clearly. Usually when ordering Indian food I have to Google search the contents and spice level, however everything is listed in great detail- including food allergies (categories I was unaware of!).
Our meals were reasonably priced for the amount of food we had- under €40 or 2 people- a shared starter (paneer pakora), shared naan (2 pieces each), 2 drinks (beer & pina colada) and 2 mains (veg biryani & tika masala). The menu is customisable- you essentially "build your curry" - choose your meat/veg, sauce and rice. You choose your spice level with the sauce, and it is served over a candle so it stays hot.
There's a reason this is one of the top dining establishments in Costa del Silencio. It was also exceptionally clean, with comfortable seating. Thank you...
Read moreWe were the 1st people to attend the dinner service at this restaurant the other night. The service started well, but the food took very long to come, seeing as we were the only people there too. Anyway, they got food 100% perfect, and spice levels were spot on for every dish. However, we noticed we were running low on chapatis, so we ordered more, after about 5 minutes of waiting the other waiter came and explained we couldn't have more because they got busy with other orders. It really took the shine off the meal, I said surely we should be the priority because we're already eating. He suggested we have tandoori roti instead, we agreed and all was OK. I was a bit annoyed to be left so long in between a meal. The next day we cooked at home and ordered 20 chapattis for collection but they refused because we were only ordering chapattis and not curry's. This is a strange business sense to refuse over 40 euros worth of order. Regardless, we ordered from Bobby's 2 down the road and they were very happy of...

My only comment for little better experience is to have some nice music in the background not radio with talking and adverts.
But definitely a...
