Restaurante El Pescaíto Palm-Mar — Restaurant in Arona

Unfortunately I can not recommend this restaurant.

When asking kindly for the menu with drinks the waitress guy saying we can drink what we want and offering the wine (the most pricy drink). When asking for a cold drink the waitress guy has pointing to the fridge and said we can pick what we want.

During the whole time at the restaurant the services has offering 4 times the bread and aioli (both will be charged extra but they didn't mention it). Interesting fact: this procedure has been done to tourists only. When asking the short-haired service lady if the bread and aioli will cost extra she suddenly couldn't speak English anymore.

The ordered food was not worth it going there: pork, fries, squid pretty dry and chewy; salad without any flavor and dressing

Sitting inside wasn't a good idea since all services kept running chaotic around and yelling at each others.

Nevertheless the bill included the bread and aioli. It took a while to tell the service that both things weren't...

Went for a dinner as recommended by a lot of people, but unfortunately we were not happy. Husband got a food poisoning after getting the octopus. It felt like not prepared properly, probably just warmed up in the microwave. I got a grilled pork tenderloin, which was also raw in the middle. Twee keer gaan eten. Eerste keer wilde ik Paella omdat dat op de dag was dat het er zou zijn (weekend en of feestdagen). Niet dus. Gekozen voor sepia. Was een hele grote, die kon ik met het standaard gerei (lees: bot mes) niet in stukken snijden. Terug naar de keuken om in stukjes te snijden. Vervolgens koud terug en toen bleek de helft nog rauw. Je zou zeggen als het teruggaat naar de keuken de chef het zou opmerken dat het niet gaar was maar helaas. Enige goede punt is dat het zonder enige moeite van de rekening werd gehaald. Je vraagt je dan toch ook wel af of men het eigenlijk toch wel wist.... Ander punt is de maat van het vullen van het wijnglas. Zeer weinig in verhouding qua prijs als ik een hele fles zou bestellen ...

De tweede keer hebben wij een 2 persoons schaal diverse vis besteld van 23,50 euro. We kregen een kleine schaal met slechts 4 verschillende soorten gefrituurde vis met heel veel kruiden maar vooral heeeeel veel zout. Zonde van de smaak. Daarnaast droop de vis nog van de olie. Het papier onder de vis was doordrenkt van donkerbruin vet. Ik voelde op een gegeven moment dat ik niet meer wilde eten. Het viel me zwaar. Ik werd vervolgens om 2 uur in de nacht ziek wakker. Ook mijn man voelde zich niet goed! Een voedselvergiftiging was evident met alle gevolgen van dien. We hebben ons de hele dag daarna vervelend gevoeld. Ik raad het niemand aan om hier...
