I recently dined at La Marina, and while the service and atmosphere were both excellent, the food left much to be desired. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant’s ambiance was inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal by the water. However, the mixed grill fish platter was disappointing. It seemed like everything was baked at the same temperature, resulting in overcooked mussels and clams that were rubbery and tough. The worst part was the squid, which was completely burnt—so much so that they had turned it over on the platter to hide it from us. Naturally, the taste was just as bad as it looked. When served, we counted two half fish, of which both he filet was gone leaving basically only the bones! 5 mussels and 6 shrimps and a couple of calamari completed the plate. When spoken to the owner he claimed it was normal and for 2 people.This plate had barely fish and seafood for one! I've mentioned to a staff member how small the meal was and I was told "well you got the meal of the day" as In i wasn't supposed to get anything really filling and the Italian waitress who I was talking to also had a bit of an attitude which I didn't really like. If I had to judge the quality of food only I would have given more stars but the waitress made the experience that much worse so here you have your 1 star pretty...
