The Treehouse Bar, Restaurant & Grill — Restaurant in Arona

Today my family and I celebrated my daughters Baby Reveal at the Tree House, after being let down at another destination at last minute, The tree house came through & allowed us to celebrate in their garden area which accommodated all our guests. We were able to celebrate with out being disturbed by other customers, giving us the whole terrace to enjoy. The owners were so kind, attentive throught the day. Later in the evening after the celebrations were over, my husband and i had ordered a meal, orthough we wasn't happy with the food, the chef corrected our complaint immediately & was very apologetic, he explained that they were very busy with Sunday dinners and having a full bar and being a full long day in a very hot kitchen & it being an extremely hot day that he was just really tired, Thus I totally understood. He even went as far as not charging us for the meals we were not satisfied with & the meals served to my 2 other friends that they had eaten. We were just charged for the drinks..This restaurant obviously takes pride in their work & to take the time to admit to having a bad hour & being kind enough to make sure their clients are happy is something many restaurants could apply to. All staff are very friendly & most welcoming. Regardless of an unfortunate situation, we will return as I do think they tried hard to keep everyone happy but sometimes you can't perfect every single meal when it's been one of your busiest days, during the height of the season in extreme heat conditions. I would totally recommend this...

This used to be a very good restaurant, but I learned that the restaurant was sold to a new owner. This new owner decided to fire all staff and start fresh. I ate fish and chips on 4-8-2016. The chips were raw inside and the skin of the fish was extremely hard and very fat. Two weeks ago (with the old owner) I also ate fish and chips. The plate was covered with a good fried fish and very tasy chips. On the same plate were vegetables and a tasty saice for the fish. Yesterday I received fish on top of the raw chips and nothing else. My daughter ate the chicken hangover kebab. Two weeks ago it were 6 or 7 pieces of chicken with some pepper and onion between it. It tasted fantastic. Yesterday it was a whole lot of vegetables like courgette, and even cucumber (grilled). My daughter hated it. My wife ate one chip and decided to stop eating. The best thing this restaurant has to offer is the piece of candy they present together with the bill. Furthermore this restaurant is a waste of your time and money. I recommend Burger King instead. At least they present their chips well done. To the new owner: cutting corners by giving people no vegetables or sauce with the fish and chips or too much vergetables with the kebab, seems like a smart thing to do, but I am never coming back and listing to my fellow eaters, I am not the only one. At least hire back the old chef and fire the geeEr that is not able...

This was my third visit to the treehouse and it is fair to say it will be my last. I pre booked my table 3 weeks ago for 4 people. Upon arriving today the table was only set for 3 but was amended straight away. I re confimed the pre booked sunday dinner choices for 4 people and all this was fine... until service. Three of us started eating our meal but my wife was still waiting for her dinner to arrive 15 minutes later! I had mentioned the delay a couple of times to no avail! Eventually I went and spoke to the manager who straight away started making excuses and implying that I was to blame as I'd ordered an additional meal! I explained this was not the case and then reminded him that I had pre booked this meal with in fact himself .... His attitude was disgusting he had a didnt care attitude and just shrugged it off. I will nit be returning to...
