El Trechuro, taberna cultural — Restaurant in Astorga

Lovely, quirky little place. We happened upon it, as not that many bars open, and welcomed in by a very friendly lady benind the bar. Nothing too much trouble for us, made up a cheese and chorizo plate, with crunchy bread on the side. Treated to an impromptu sing song, by a guest with a guitar, in Spanish and English, then another customer and finally the lady from the bar, superb! Warming up for a band to play at midnight, finally closing at 3am... Treat yourself to a visit, just to admire the eclectic surroundings, with very personal touches to this...

Es el único local en el que te puedes tomar una cerveza, café o refresco sin tener que tomarte un cocido maragato. En todos los demás sólo te sirven de comer. Así que si visitas este pueblo tan bonito y quieres hacer una parada sin hacer una comilona de cocido sólo tienes el Trechuro, es cutre pero con encanto. Para los q le guste la cerveza, la tienen de fabricación casera. Lo he valorado con tres estrellas porque el patio donde se encuentran las mesas necesita un poco más de limpieza en general y cuidado de la vegetación.
