4 Latas Hostafrancs — Restaurant in Barcelona

We chose this place based on reviews and were very disappointed. The tables were sticky and poorly maintained. We tried to order food using the QR codes stuck on the tables, but they didn’t work. When we went inside, the waiter said the system was down, and during that whole time, no one approached our table. We ordered a few appetizers, but unfortunately, we didn’t get exactly what we asked for. The calamari were rubbery and hard to bite into, and the nachos came with cold, hardened cheese. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews...

Ambiance of restaurant was good. But as an American, none of their QR codes for the menu worked, so we could not read an English menu. When we questioned the waiter about it… he said we could just google it. That was a fruitless adventure as there are no English menus online and translate does not work for the PDF menu they have uploaded on their website. We only ended up ordering two safe menu items based off pictures we could find online. A chicken quesadilla, and potatoes with spicy sauce. Quesadilla was just OK, but...

Yo no se porque hay algún comentario negativo por los precios, la verdad que los precios que tienen son adecuados a la zona y el producto que tienen, vi las reviews y decidi salir de dudas e ir yo mismo, ya que por fuera parece un local bastante chulo que recién abrió y merece la pena investigarlo un poco. El local tiene una terraza enorme, en una zona tranquila dada la gran afluencia en calles colindantes. Decidí sentarme dentro, donde enseguida me tomarón nota y apenas tuve que espera 10-15 min a que mi comida fuera preparada, yo tomé la hamburguesa de ternera, que la verdad que el trozo de carne que tiene es más que generoso. Luego para el postre, pedí un tatin de manzana templada con helado de canela, estaba de genial, me dejó con ganas con más, pero eso ya lo guardo para la próxima visita, espero poder volver pronto.
