Outstanding Review for Ikono Immersive Experience, Barcelona
As photographers at Photolator.com, we’ve had the privilege of exploring countless visual wonders, but the Ikono Immersive Experience in Barcelona left us truly awestruck. From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported to a realm where art, technology, and creativity merged seamlessly.
The experience is a sensory feast that engages not just the eyes but the soul. The vibrant colors, dynamic lighting, and innovative concepts provide endless opportunities to capture breathtaking images, while the thoughtful curation ensures every corner is Instagram-worthy.
What sets Ikono apart is its ability to evoke emotion and spark creativity. Whether it's walking through surreal dreamscapes or interacting with cutting-edge digital art, the experience pushes the boundaries of what art can be. For us, it wasn’t just about taking photos—it was about feeling the art and telling its story through our lenses.

Read moreThe experience, in reality, is just a few rooms to take pictures. Nothing highly designed and easy to reproduce at home. 18€ for this is a scam! The worst room was a corridor with doodles-like drawings of the desert. They use machines to produce artificial smells that saturate the air. Extremely disappointed. My 2-year-old enjoyed it, which is the target they should have. Indeed, she has experienced the colourful fringes hanging from the ceiling at her kindergarten! An immersive experience is something else: Learn something from Teamlab! Please, don't waste your money on this! If they were serious about providing an excellent experience, they would reimburse customers who are not happy. Update for days after the visit: you asked to send an email with ideas when I am already providing feedback here. I read through many reviews that provide specific feedback. Also, you sent a feedback form. There, you will find for sure ideas to improve your venue. So, instead of answering to my review and request to be reimbursed, you ask a satisfied customer to invest personal time further in providing feedback I have already provided? You need to improve also your...
Read moreMy first impression when leaving this place is that we have been scammed: I feel stupid paying 18€ for visiting these 10 rooms. The mall shall think of providing this for free as I cannot think anyone will pay such an amount of money to go through it again. First room with the pool of balls was still fun, but then the nonsense starts. A room in the dark with Chinese lamps holding from the ceiling...nothing else... I decided to wait expecting the walls would be actually screens and would start anytime showing amazing video creations.... Time passed by and nothing happened... I left the room to fetch someone from the staff -all very friendly BTY- to explain to me what I was missing... I was not missing anything...that was all... A scam! Second room had a similar but with fake illuminated jellyfishes holding from the ceiling... That's it... Scam. Rest of the rooms have a similar approcach.
Kids and perhaps Instagram fanatics might find it cool... No one else, at least...
