Casa de Portuguesa in Barcelona's Garcia neighborhood is a cozy spot that feels like home. What makes it special is its simple charm and fantastic wine collection, filled with Portuguese gems.
The fresh pastel de nata stole the show during my visit. These Portuguese custard tarts were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, making every bite a delight. Pairing them with a glass of wine from their impressive selection was a match made in heaven.
Their homemade cakes were another highlight, each slice bursting with flavor and baked to perfection. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere of the place.
In summary, Casa de Portuguesa is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Portuguese flavors in Barcelona. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or simply enjoy good food, this place has something for everyone. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their...
Read moreThe best place for Portuguese pastry in Barcelona! These guys have the best pastel de nata (or pastel de belem). As a person who lived in Portugal and the one who knows some stuff about the their cuisine, I surely recommend you this place They have good promos for take away food and coffee. Btw, the coffee here is awesome and not expensive. Prices here are fair in general, it’s not the cheapest place for Portuguese goods, but it’s definitely the best one and the cutest one You can find plenty of doces, salgados or vinhos do Portugal. Basically, a lot of gourmet stuff and yet again - very tasty food to try People who work here are super nice and friendly, they can recommend you to try things that are gonna be right to your taste. You can also come here to speak Portuguese and meat some tugas 😄 I simply love it here and every time I’m in Gracia, I’m trying to pay...

I also always enjoy the absolutely delicious bifana (traditional - comprises a bread roll filled with marinated pork cutlets. The secret is in the marinade and how its cooked. It’s deliciously Portuguese and simple, made from garlic, white wine, and a few spices.) The wines are nice and you can also try the famous Ginjinha. 🍒 The quiche is fairly good but it is too expensive for the very small portion you get at that price. Also the coffee quality decreased a lot in the past years and you should just expect a mediocre one (the cortado also depends on who is preparing it - there is a young lady in the mornings that unfortunately makes it really bad so i gave up drinking coffee here when I discovered other great coffee...
