Asado Burgers — Restaurant in Barcelona

Recently came here on a recent trip to Barcelona, having booked for opening time on a Friday following reading the great reviews! Upon arrival we were shown to our seats, and given a menu containing an English translation - which was very helpful! We were warmly attended to and our burgers came out in good time. There was a small mistake with mine but still was quickly rescued. First - the fries. These were piping hot and a generous serving was provided. They were well coated with rosemary and sea salt, and absolutely delicious. If you're from the UK - they reminded me of Honest Burger fries! The burger was also incredible! I ordered the Veggie Asado and my friend the Veggie Asaso with pulled jackfruit. The burger itself was cooked perfectly, a very slight char, and a lovely flavour! I had never had this brand of veggie burger before, but would definitely get again! The bun was soft and slightly toasted. I was a little suspicious of the cheese at first which seemed more like a cheese sauce? Though this also had a great flavour which complimented the burger, and did solidify some when not so hot! The food at this place was overall incredible, and I would highly recommend if you are a burger and fries fan! The pricing was very reasonable. I would note that free tap water did not seem to be an option, which may be something to bare in mind...

Definitely one of the top 3 burger places in Barcelona. The ambience and decoration is very inspiring to get all the calories you can. Now about food can’t say much more. They have few but different enough burgers with very nice mix of ingredients to cover all tastes. The quality of the ingredients/raw material is EXCEPTIONAL especially in terms of meat. They really know how to cook and respect the cooking levels at the burger. The fries are hand made and also very tasty and crunchy. As being fan of spicy I found the habanero sauce very tasty but would prefer it slightly more fiery. The only cons I may spot, just to have some for being fair and objective, are bread and pricing. The bread is brioche, high quality and very tasty but (probably due to its artesanal level) gets easily juicy and can’t stay easily in solid form. Not a big deal though since you need to get dirty in a burger place. Now pricing is slightly higher than the other 2/3 in my top 3 though it compensates with the portions that are really big.

Will definitely revisit especially if Luis is working in order to enjoy his excellent service alongside with the food.

I preordered an hour before the restaurant opened. 40 min after the opening I get a call from the them telling me I need to call Glovo because no one came to pick up my order. I told them I didn't use Glovo but ordered directly from THEIR WEBSITE... The guy on the phone told me he will look into it. After 10 min I call again because obviously he didn't call me back and he tells me someone is coming to pick it up. I told him the burger and the fries were cooked almost an hour ago and they will be rank. He told me don't worry we have a way of keeping the food warm (Needless to sat that didn't help me not to worry). Food arrives finally after an hour and 10 minutes and guess what? Full on rank. Fries were as cold as it can get and glued together. The bread was dry, the meat hard and so on. I had one bite and it went to the bin. While I waited I started to read the reviews and they are tons of similar ones to mine, I wish I had read them before. Never...
