Bamba Brunch — Restaurant in Barcelona

Came here because it was a 5 star average and hoped for an experience, but was kinda let down. The food was objectively fine, for the most part, but the execution was off and underwhelming.

I ordered an iced latte with chocolate, and they served me a cup of milk with a espresso shot and a jar of chocolate sauce on the side. Neat, I guess, but I just wanted a latte that was made by them. It would have been neater if it didn’t take over 10 minutes to get it - and there were barely any other patrons there.

I also ordered a breakfast plate that was tomato toast with jamon and two eggs on top. This was pretty flavorful and I enjoyed it, aside from the fact that one of the eggs was over cooked and not runny at all while the other was cooked properly.

I also ordered a side of potatoes and it had no flavor whatsoever. Fairly disappointing.

I ordered their pancakes on recommendation but they were served cold?? SO cold in fact, that they must have been made before hand and stuck in a refrigerator because it also had that refrigerator (old) taste. I’ve never in my life had pancakes cold, but I was gagging trying to even finish the first tier because of how dated it tasted.

The presentation is cute, seems like a dish for kids, but I was just so confused why it was cold. And they are clearly then not made fresh in house, as the coldness wasn’t that of food left on a counter maybe. It was completely cold throughout the pancake… and they are THICK pancakes.

I quickly paid and left for somewhere more trendier with a line but promising food. Too early to complain & when I told the woman working there she just stared at me so it’s not worth a further...

Bamba Brunch is hands down the best breakfast and brunch spot in Barcelona. The place has such a positive and happy vibe that you’ll feel great the moment you walk in.

The food is amazing – I highly recommend the Iberian, Serrano, and Coquetos. The coffee is top-notch too. The staff is super friendly and the service is excellent. Plus, the place looks great and has a stylish atmosphere.

The best part? It’s all great value for money. You get high-quality food and service without spending a fortune.
