Horrible and aggressive attention received in D.O Vins i Platillos the worst experience of our entire life We were shocked to see the rudeness of the waiter grow bigger every time we ordered something or asked for one more drink, ( the restaurant was almost empty) you could tell he was doing a job he dislike and for that he takes he's frustration and rage out to the customers and this is unacceptable, I think the owner should teach some civilized manners and customer service to this employee. This was really scary experience and unacceptable, considering how small and expensive the tapas are, he was every time almost throwing it at us, but the cherry in the cake is for this restaurant to expect that customers need to accept the raging abusive behaviour of this waiter the one with "fairly ball hair, blue eyes, and very very short in height -" , I choose to give the description of the waiter so no other employee are blamed wrongly, because the cook was...

Primer i darrer cop que el visito. Una amiga l'havia trobat i hem anat amb reserva. El local és petit. Les racions cares per al que donen. Volen folrar-se amb el vi. Només cervesa Àmbar, la més barata. L'ampolla de vi més barata 20 euros. Per copes el doble perquè d'una ampolla en treuen sis. Explico l'experiència. Cadires gens còmodes, espai petitíssim. Taules coixes. Racions molt curtes. Preus per a turistes. Impossible sopar bé per menys de 35 euros. Com el seu especial són els platerets , n'hem demanat. He menjat un quart de carxofa, un tros d'alberginia, mitjà bomba de pop, tres trossos de calamarcet, sis trossos de patata brava, un quart de truita d'un ou amb bolets, dos trossets d'entranya amb quatre patates fregides, un trosset de pa amb oli i tomàquet. Per beure un got i mig de vi. Total 31 euros.

Sense opció a cafè , no en tenen. Fins aqui la part bona.

El servei bastant dolent. Poca informació, només la fotocòpia plastificada. Els primers platets ràpids perquè no hi havia gent, 9:30hores de la nit. Ens quedem amb molta gana demanem més per picar, aquí ja ha fallat el servei. Porten dos entranyes amb patates i s'obliden el pa. Ens el porten amb les postres. L'hem rebutjat. Tothom mort de gana, els vuit volem postres a 6 euros per cap. 3 coulants, un baba amb licor, dos torrijas, un pastís de formatge i com que no hi ha tiramisú, em demano un xuixo amb gelat de vaillina. Confirmo amb el cambrer que porta gelat. Sí, sí , amb gelat. Porten els postres. Tres coulants amb gelat de vainilla, dos torrijas amb gelat de vainilla i el baba de limoncello amb gelat de vainilla .El xuixo i el pastís de formatge sense gelat. L'avíso que el meu xuixo era amb gelat de vainilla , i em diu que sí, que ara me'l porta apart. Tothom menjant-se les postres menys jo.😥 Passen deu minuts, apareix l'altra cambrera i em diu no hi ha gelat de vainilla, i que em porto crema de xocolata blanca , amb dos collons. Per sis euros , un mig xuixo industrial amb Nocilla blanca industrial, quan ja tothom havia acabat. Quina presa de pèl! L'he retornat.

Bàsicament el problema d'aquest local és que sempre té clientela NOVA perquè està a la vora dels cinemes Verdi , molts no tornen però hi ha clients nous cada setmana. Et prenen el pèl i es folren de pasta amb una merda de servei i unes racions patètiques.

Small place with fantastic food and excellent wines. We had to come back a second time. The food is of great quality and the dishes have unique combinations and textures. The menu is extensive and contains some modern fusion dishes, as well as personalised takes on Catalan classics. The wines are great - everything we had surpassed our expectations. The daily menu is in Catalan, but the owner and servers are very friendly and helpful in translating it, so it was not a problem finding stuff we liked.
