This place saved us from our hangovers after a few too many margaritas the night before.
Strangely enough, the best and fresh green salad we’ve found in a whole week in Barcelona was here, but that was not the piece de resistance.
We ordered the beef and blue cheese burger and the beef burger with rockets and walnuts. The chef asked how we’d like our burger cooked, we said medium. The walnut burger was an interesting texture combo but quite tasty. The beef and blue cheese was simply delicious however we felt both burgers were probably closer to medium rare than medium. We also ordered a side of roasted potatoes with olive oil and sea salt that was so tasty.
The only staff member, also chef, was super friendly but didn’t speak too much English. There was an English menu available.
Food was served fast and meals were affordable, venue was quirky. There were beers to wash the burgers down we but we opted for cokes.
Total meal was €23, we left VERY full...

As, at first we didn't order any food at all, they wouldn't let us sit. Most probably we would have ordered a couple of beers and would have ended ordering food but, in a very polite way, the manager refuse serving us even when half of the table were empty.
It's a pity that this kind of restaurants haven't learnt anything and instead of becoming a place for neighbour's it's just a place for tourist and a way of making easy money.
To be honest, it smelled incredibly, but this policy of refusing serving only drinks - I don't even know if this is legals - pushes me to go for more...
Read moreHad one regular burger, one veggie burger, potatoes in aoli and corn cobs with butter and salt. The burgers were really good with perfectly grilled bread, even though some sauce or something would have done it on the veggie, being a bit dry without it.
However, main reason for only giving it three stars is that they forgot about our potatoes and corn cobs and we had to go remind them, having already finished the burgers.
Otherwise a genuine Spanish place with friendly staff and nice atmosphere! Would definitely recommend it for a relaxed and casual dinner with some wine or beer. Very affordable, paying around €29 including four glasses...
