One of the best italian restaurants in Barcelona!

The place has nice terrace with around eight tables and we definitely recommend to make reservations for sitting outside as the restaurant is located in quiet area and the terrace is very comfortable. The restaurant offers great value for money, all the ingredients we found very fresh! We recommend you to share starters: our favorites were burrata and and vitello tonnato - absolutely delicious! We also recommend you to ask staff what specialty they have outside of the menu- we were served amazing mushrooms carpacio! For main courses we recommend you to try squid black spaghetti that were perfectly cooked and were enough salty with enough squid! What we didn’t enjoy is that past for cacio e pepe was overcooked, even though the past was fresh - that is the only negative side of our lunch! Service is friendly, helpful, polite - they wanted to change our cacio e pepe to be served with spaghetti, that was very kind and they put a lot of effort! We had a reservation in this restaurant for my bestfriend’s birthday. The food was amazing. However, the service let us down. We asked if there is any compliment for birthdays, they said they have candles. When I asked separately — they said that i can pay for the desert and they can put candles on it. Ok… So I asked for the check. The prices in it were different than the menu. In the menu Prosecco was 4.50, in the check – 5 euro. We ordered 4, so it was 2 euro difference. Stracciatella starter was 18 euro in the menu, in the check it was 20. And the list goes on. When I confronted the waiter about the differences in prices, he remade the check with other Prosecco prices, but said that the menu for dishes has changed and he gave us an old one. Is it our problem? You should serve the latest version of the menu to the customers, so that they wouldn’t be surprised when you bring them the check. Unfortunately had an unpleasant experience. The service was horrible, couldn’t get a waiter to ask a question, I understand that maybe it’s busy, but I’m a client and I have questions about the food! So the waiter could not explain the dish , couldnt properly explain the starter , so we were ordering food through Instagram photos ! It took about an hour to cook the pasta and the squid, I honestly don’t understand why it took that long , probably because the waiters were too busy … I don’t understand how the prices are formed … at the end the bill was very expensive and the starters were more expensive then the mains , and they were not listed in the menu , the waiter just told us that they have green beans with yoke and it was 60 euro just for 2 starters (crazy)!
