ELEPHANTA GINBAR COCTELERIA — Restaurant in Barcelona

This is a nice cocktail bar with good drinks. We went there because it had such great reviews, and the cocktails didn't disappoint, but the customer service was definitely lacking to say the least. The bar was full, so we were asked to sit outside and wait until one of the tables became available, which we were fine doing. We ordered a few drinks and waited paitently only to realize after about 40 minutes that 2 other larger groups had been sat before us. When we brought this to the waiter's attention he said he would see what he could do... and we were ignored for another 10 minutes. We won't be...

Popped into this bar on a whim based on the excellent reviews both here an on TripAdvisor and was very glad I did. The bar itself is small, cosy and beautifully decorated but the star attraction is the gins, of which there is a huge selection.

Never fear though, as the friendly staff are super-knowledgeable. Tell them what you like and they'll suggest something for you. I went for the Nordés and had one of the nicest gin and tonic's I've had in a long time whilst chatting to the friendly owner about photography.

If you're in the area and you like gin, you'd be daft...

How a nice neighborhood bar with cozy vibes and quality drinks. Everything about my visit was wonderful; the service was warm and friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, with cool décor, great music, and even Miyazaki animations playing on the screen. And off-course their cocktail and gin selection is fantastic too! I’ve been living just around the corner for almost a year and can’t believe I only discovered it now. I’ll definitely be coming back again...
