Mil Miralls — Restaurant in Barcelona

Great cosy place with nice decoration and cool atmosphere. Good place for romantic evenings, meals with friends, etc.

They have some nice drink options, including local beers, wine, cocktails, and their own vermut, which was delicious.

Prices for all were very reasonable.

On the food side there’s loads of options to suit any palette, craving, or budget. Sharing plates are in the 5€ to 11€ range and looked to be fairly generous. The same could be said for the 8€ salad bowls. Wraps, burgers, and main plates all sat happily within the 8€ to 15€ bracket, with lots of options available on all, including multiple veggie friend servings. And of course a good selection of desserts under 5€.

The only thing I felt let it down was the state of the facilities. While it’s common to have the bathrooms up the back and without good ventilation, this unfortunately let the score down due to the smell of damp and collapsing fibreboard that constituted the ceiling. Not by any means unbearable, but not the most pleasant.

Still, I would say, absolutely...

Una lástima la verdad, trabajo en el barrio, y estábamos buscando con mi novio un sitio para tomar y picar algo. Entramos a este sitio a las 20:35 aprox, porque en la calle habían varias pizarras con diferentes promociones que iban hasta las 21:00. Hemos entrando, de mala gana nos dicen que al fondo porque adelante solo es para grupos o más de 3 personas. Hay un pequeño patio y quiero ver si hay mesa libre, otra vez de mala gana me dicen que solo la de dos, la cual estaba ocupada, y con la mano me hacen señas que me siente en la de al lado, (que era para 4). Después de un rato le decimos al camarero que queremos dos de las promos de la pizarra a lo cual responde que cuáles son? Que el no trabaja ahí y no se las sabe. Le explico y asiente. Vuelve diciendo que el encargado ha dicho que las promos no existen, y ofrece otra dos. Que si quiero las que yo había visto en la pizarra vaya y hable con el encargado. Salgo tomo una foto de una de las promos que quería, porque a todas estas, me fijo que han retirado las demás promociones y aún faltan 10 mint para las 21:00. Le muestro la foto al camarero de la promo que quiero y me dice que el no trabaja ahí, que solo está haciendo un reemplazo, que el termina su turno y se olvida del sitio y que por tal motivo yo debía ir a decirle al encargado lo de la pizarra. Terminamos saliendo del sitio, muy mal atendidos. Por más que sea un solo reemplazo de un solo turno, debe atender bien, se supone que el camarero es el intermediario entre el sitio y el cliente. Después muy mal que quiten los carteles de las promos justo cuando un cliente está preguntando por ellos.

Terminamos entrando al Bar Roure, a unas calles de allí, que recomiendo 1000% deben ir antes que pensar en entrar a este del cual escribo la reseña.

We visited this tapas bar yesterday for the third time, and it honestly feels better each visit. Coming from Germany, we’ve tried many places, but this one stands out as one of the very best. The atmosphere is warm and lively, the service is genuinely kind, and the tapas are simply delicious. The sangria (and the other drinks) were spot on, too. For us, the price and quality fit perfectly—you really can’t complain. After yesterday, one thing is clear: this won’t be our last visit. Already looking forward to...
