Honest Greens Gran de Gràcia — Restaurant in Barcelona

I don’t know if Honest Greens is playing some sort of social experiment to see how worse the food can get until people just stop coming here, but the inconsistency in the dishes is frustrating.

One day the carrots (that you pay extra for) are caramelised and delicious, next day same carrots are raw and tasteless. One day the salad has a subtle dressing that makes it really good, the next day has no dressing at all.

I dare you to come 5 random days and ask for the same dish and extras and see how different they are.

I feel bad for being this mean, but when you come with something specific in mind, you order with excitement and then you get something else… it’s frustrating.

Hope you guys get this sorted out soon, because the price tag is high (which I didn’t care to pay for) but like this, it is not worth it.

Sadly the portion I got (salmon) was really small, that’s probably the only thing that I would add.

Probably next time I’ll check on the price for adding an extra...

I went for dinner with a friend last Saturday night. Besides ordering food we got a refill for the H2O bar. When we got to the H2O bar 3 out of 5 drinks were out. After having one glass a worker (she was the same one at the cashier which served us) completely closed the H2O Bar leaving us with only water to drink. It wasn't near closure time and after asking why we were not told about that so we could have got any other drink she answered in a very rude way and i quote: "I only follow orders" she then turned around and left us there. I think she should be changing. Perhaps she should consider changing job and dedicate herself to a job where there is no customer service, no one is forcing her to stay there if she doesn’t like it; there’s plenty of people out there that are very talented and love to work in direct...

I went there to eat lunch with a friend after we saw the great reviews it had online. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. For the astounding price of 46 euros, we got two dishes that looked wonderful but tasted mediocre at best. My friend’s steak was so tough that every piece had to be chewed for over a minute before you could even think about swallowing it. Furthermore, our plates were covered in way too much greenery, which only served the purpose of making the plate look fuller. After our meal, we thought we'd give the cookies a try. Big mistake. I never thought one could make bad chocolate chip cookies, but these were just horrible, with the consistency of wet sand (not that I’ve ever tried wet sand).

My advice to you: find somewhere else to eat. You will find way better options for this price....
