Suites Center Barcelona — Hotel in Barcelona

We cannot say enough positive about our stay at Suites Center, Barcelona. As a family of five, it was our first trip to Europe from Canada, and we said to ourselves every day, we don’t know how we got so lucky as to choose this aparthotel. We stayed in the largest suite with a view and it was gorgeous inside and out. We had access to all amenities and staff support from the stunning hotel next-door Casa Fuster, including the rooftop patio. The area was gorgeous, with grocery stores, a variety of restaurants, metro station, and the most gorgeous high-end street for shopping all in the immediate area. It was generally quiet and very safe feeling. The hotel room lived up to all expectations. The breakfast at Casa Fuster next-door every morning was one of the high point of our trip. It was incredible. Most of all what stood out was the staff at Casa Fuster who support Suites Center. They were outstanding in terms of pleasantness, helpfulness, and truly the most accommodating staff we have ever come in contact with. We cannot recommend this...

Pros: the staff is very kind and attentive and the shower has great pressure with lots of hot water. Cons: If you call the phone number they give you, they won't answer. Call the Hotel Casa Fuster to get a response. We didn't know this so we couldn't get an airport transfer and had to pay for a cab. The location is very far north away from the main sights, the washing machine was broken, the refrigerator smelled so bad we were gagging when we opened it, the beds are stiff and uncomfortable, the pull out couch in the living room is cheap and broken on one side, the lobby stinks like overwhelming male cologne constantly, wifi goes in and out, and the bedrooms are so small we could not fit our luggage in them. Oh and only half of the USB charging ports work. There are a lot of places in Barcelona to stay for this...

Very small, dated equipment and furniture and costly apartment. Most Apartments I've been to allow guests to use the kitchen if they stay even one night, here they charge you 33 euro per night if you don't stay over 3 nights JUST FOR THE USE OF THE KITCHEN! also they will charge for using the WASHING, literally every apartment allows guests to use the laundry as its included. the light in the shower was broken (didn't turn on) but we were scared to report it as they might charge us, even thought it was like that when we came. you are allowed to use the hotels facilities like gym and pool, but they were extremely small. gym was very limited with old equipment and pool was smaller than the fountain in front of the hotel. only good thing was the location,...
