Itnig Café — Restaurant in Barcelona

We are long-time huge fans of SYRA 🥳🤩 We always order their coffee beans online to enjoy it at home🏡 Sometimes we love to go out and have a cup of nice tasty coffee and cookies onsite.

The place is welcoming as always. The barista was very friendly ☺️ The prices are okayish, but if you are 2 persons and take 2 ☕️ with 2 🍪 be ready to pay at least €10.

Also, it seems that on the weekends they don't have bakery, only the cookies that is a bit disappointing because they have really yummy pastries 🥐🍰🥮

The location is great, it's very close to the beach 🏖 so it's easy to pass it by. But they have more locations to visit.

We recommend this place. We absolutely love it ❤️

An absolute disgrace. We are huge fans of specialty coffee and I remember discovering this place in 2018, we were so happy.. it was a small shop back then and the experience was amazing. Very personalised, we had a great educational conversation with the barista and the coffee itself was fireworks. We went several times that summer. Now, going back to Barcelona in 2022 we were eager to visit again and at first we were surprised there were more -many more- than one Syra coffee. We decided to go to this one in Poblenou. The place itself looks good, but the coffee was terrible, we couldn’t even finish our “flat white”.. which actually looked more like a deflated cappuccino than a flat white. The barista was nice but had no idea what she was doing. The coffee itself was no complex at all, just a regular uninterestingly roasted coffee. We are definitely not going back and we are left with a very sad and disappointing feeling. Looks like the owner decided to go for 💰...

I don’t know how the coffee actually is because they did not make a proper flat white for me. I was there waiting next to the pickup area, I saw with my own eyes that the coffee maker grabbed a cup of coffee was there for a while because nobody picked it up. He just added more milk into it and told me: FLAT WHITE. I did not say anything because at the moment I thought maybe he just didn’t want to waste the coffee. I kind of regretted that I didn’t say anything about it at the moment, because I figured later this is very rude. Keep going with this kind of attitude you will end up with no customers coming...
