One of the diamonds of Barcelona, I strongly recommend. I came to Artisa to try an ice cream with a specialty coffee. I opted for a flat white and accompanied it with lemon sorbet. The baristas were very friendly and nice. The coffee had a rich, nutty taste and a robust body—exactly what I was looking for. There were some subtle notes of acidity, and they complemented the ice cream wonderfully. This experience motivated me to buy the beans, and I honestly regret purchasing only one bag. The beans provide a deep, flavorful taste when brewed in my favorite AeroPress at home. We discovered this cafe in a neighborhood close to the city center. The entrance is on the street side but it opens up to the park in the inside. It’s absolutely lovely! Artisa - Barcelona is an organic café that roasts small batch coffee, serves delicious coffee, has a great selection of local made empanadas, cookies, several local Ice cream flavors, and other great food items, all served up by friendly yet industrious people who are helping customers while continuing the production of wonderful fresh made goods.
