My family and I walked from La Sagrada Familia to Parc Guell. On the way we saw this resteraunt and Looked very inviting so decided to stop for lunch. My wife and son had the bistec with potatoes (french fries). They enjoyed it.
Coming to Spain, I really wanted to try the Fiduet (basically it is Paella with small noodles like Rice-A-Roni for the Americans reading this). For the half menu option it came with 2 mussels, a small piece of octopus and I guess a few other small pieces of shell fish. I guess for the half menu price (11.50) it was an OK portion, I wasnt extremely hungry anyway.
While the taste was good, either something was foul in it or something didnt sit well with me. I am not allergic to seafood, I eat it all the time. While exploring Parc Guell, it hit me. The shivers, cramping stomach, and I guess you all know what else. Luckily I was able to make it back to my apartment (without making a mess in the Uber) where I spent about 6 hours going back and forth to the bathroom/bed. My wife found a Pharmacy to get medicine to help with food poisoning and an adult form of Pedialite.
Its the next day now, Good Friday. Ive started my re-hydration journey and while I feel like I got hit by a truck, I will continue my vacation here...
Read moreHidden gem. We went on a hop off hop in bus got out for the parc guell and looked for restaurants nearby and this one was one of the top rated. Food was amazing and the price even better. They have a couple menus to choose from,1 started and main, drink and bread for 13.50€ bargain and its so tasty. Small restaurant mainly locals. There is only one person serving so if you are in a rush don't recommend it. But the staff who served us was amazing. Very friendly, always with a smile even though he didn't had a second to rest. If you have time to eat and want cheap and tasty food I recommend it, you won't regret. Deffo go back next time I'm...

The food at El Castell d’en Sacha is exceptional. I had the Fideuà with seafood to start, and it was simply amazing—rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and full of fresh seafood. For the main course, I chose the Tuna with citrus green sauce, and it was outstanding! The tuna was beautifully seared, tender, and complemented perfectly by the zesty citrus sauce.
The quality of ingredients, the balance of flavors, and the overall atmosphere made this a truly memorable meal. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and delicious food in Barcelona. I will...
