I visited this place 3 weeks ago and had the worst experience of my life. To begin with, the food looks disgusting. It is left out all day for display and when you order something they grab it from the display. Keep in mind that they have fly’s all over the food 🤮 The lady and elderly man that work there or own the place are extremely rude to all their customers. They dont allow you to sit where you want and give you stupid reasons why you cant sit there. Plus you have to pay to use their restrooms! And to top it off, they treat their employees like garbage in front of the customers. While we were there they were humiliating their employee and calling him stupid while he was cleaning, only because he discarded the unused napkins that customers left in the dirty table. Terrible service and horrible atmosphere. €20 minimum to pay by card. This was the worst food and service I’ve ever had. Ordered the seafood paella and the chicken strips and my friend ordered the sausage paella. We waited about 30 minutes and I had not received the seafood paella and when questioned the lady said that I hadn’t ordered it. The chicken strips were absolutely pathetic and not worth the €7.50 as they were as thin as a fry. And when I questioned the bill and asked if I could have a discount as I hadn’t recieved my food, the worker said it was not possible and that the lady that served me was new. Lunch at Restaurant Parkguell was a disaster, particularly due to the calamari and paella fiasco. The calamari, an appalling flour-based imitation, had an unnatural white color and crumbled into small pieces. We ordered a seafood paella expecting an authentic experience, but what we received was a fake dish containing only one shrimp, one crayfish, and the same fraudulent calamari. Combined with undercooked, frozen entrees, our disappointment knew no bounds.
