Hello everyone on here. I'm writing this today not only for me, but for all the people against racism. Until we start naming & shaming the racists they will never stop. I was at this Bar the other and wanted to pay by apple pay on my mobile and for some reasons it wasn't working. I didn't know that I actually had cash in my backpack.... & unfortunately it happened to me before but I paid with cash in this same place.. But this time, I was treated really badly the two owners (A man & a woman) at the bar were like all worked up. Looking at me so weirdly. And telling a lady next to me that it happened before and that I didn't want to pay.. she should just look at me it was normal given the way I looked that I probably meant it... And shouting at me almost like a thief. I was so embarrassed.. almost crying - then I asked the man please can I go get some cash from the ATM and come back to pay you? He said oh no, no, you need to leave us something. We wouldn't let you go, and the man was like I can't let you out of this bar without you paying me. He kept on saying this to me with a very aggressive tone.. over and over again he couldn't´s stop. I said to him oh please you are stressing me out for just Eur4.25 I mean I live around here and have also pass by - they see me pass by almost every morning and I pass by their bar. They still couldn't let me go. So I said to myself let me check my backpack again all of a sudden I noticed that I did have cash in my backpack God saved me from disgrace- I saw 20 euros note. I didn't thought of it because I normally don't carry cash on my backpack since it wasn´t a normal lady´s bag, it didn't occur to me that I had cash in there. I was so relieved and i said to them you have treated me like a thief. I will never come back here. I'm sure you have done this because I look different, and so you thought i was a thief or you simply didn´t believe me because I´m not like you. and the lady nodded like almost saying I was right. I was treated so badly. I was crying the...
Read moreI took it for granted and thought surely Parc Güell would have some kind of over priced food options inside the park. After we entered, we followed the signs to the cafe and were really surprised to discover that the cafe is now shut leaving no food options if you haven’t brought along anything. So we explored the park for three hours with only the water we had with us. When we left Parc Güell we were very hungry but wanted to avoid the touristy establishments close to the park. This was the closest well reviewed place. We were very hungry and it was very well worth the few extra minutes to get to by foot from the park. We only had the tapas dishes which were all well made. The meat balls were our favourite. They weren’t overcooked and they combined exceptionally with the flavours of the sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly. I only wish we had tried the ham croquettes. The restaurant is clean and unfussy. The service was very good and the price felt perfectly reasonable compared to other places we tried around the city. It was the perfect follow up after our trip...
Read moreWe go there after walking in Park Guell, with our 4 years old kid, today 19.09.2024 and food very delicious, they served fast, but.. Kid napped here, for 15 mins. Place was not too busy and waited here, it was raining outside. Waiter come to us, he looked at kid and saw she asleep. Ask as we want something else? I asked coffee and he then asked take or not meal, we had not finished our meal, because kid napped in my arms and her chicken was not eaten. I knew her nap is for short time. I told to waiter, no leave meal, but he made face, did not hear us and took everything. I understand we had to go, with kid in rain. I finished my coffee and my daughter woke up at this time, she saw her chicken was taken and cried hard... We go out fast. So, shame for them and not kids friendly place,...
