TEIKIT | TRAVESSERA — Restaurant in Barcelona

It is definitely not the best sushi in town. Yet, it is affordable and tastes good.

PROS:

1. NIGIRI SALMON. I consider myself a nigiri lover and always order them at every Japanese restaurant I go to. In Barcelona, I have had them at around 15-20 different places and this one maked it to the top 3.

CONS:

1. Though they have a few tables, I wouldn't recommend dine in there. It isn't cozy whatsoever and the place / business model itself wasn't designed for that. Therefore, go for the pick-up or delivery options.

2. Shrinkflation bites. Last time I ordered Teikit was 8 months ago. This time though, I noticed a "package downsizing" in some of their sushi rolls. Especially on the green...

Esta reseña la haré desde el punto de vista de un repartidor de este local. Generalmente en la comunidad de riders en Barcelona, cuando sale un pedido de este local, nos lamentamos. Y es triste, pues se supone que uno debería estar contento por tener trabajo.

La organización es un desastre, no hay otra definición. Los tiempos de espera pueden variar de los 30-50 minutos en promedio. Ojo, no es culpa del personal, pues ellos siempre están a full trabajando, es que no se dan abasto para producir la gran demanda de pedidos, y eso es enteramente falta de gerencia eficiente. Y los he escuchado decir por teléfono, que "es culpa de uber que está demorado", lo cual es falso, pues estamos ahí simplemente sin hacer nada esperando. Eso es peor aún, excusarse con mentiras al cliente.

Parecen olvidar, que el repartidor que llega a buscar un pedido, no es un cualquiera, es un cliente más. Detrás de cada rider hay un cliente, esperando su orden. Somos la cara del cliente frente al restaurante, y la forma en que seamos atendidos, es la misma forma en la que estarían atendiendo al cliente.

Los clientes siempre que nos preguntan "¿qué pasa?", nuestra respuesta es la misma: el restaurante 45 minutos después, aún no nos entrega el pedido. ¿Acaso creen que los clientes están contentos con algo tan demorado? De hecho puede verse en las reseñas aquí mismo en google, mucha gente quejándose del pésimo servicio.

Escribo por acá, porque al parecer los empleados no están entrenados para recibir ninguna sugerencia, pues la respuesta siempre es maleducada y poco cordial. De nuevo, los entiendo, deben estar explotados de trabajo.

He comido allí dos veces, y la calidad de la comida es acorde al precio, pero ya me abstengo de pedir, porque es una vergüenza los tiempos.
