We have lived in the area for 6 years and our usual choice of Indian restaurant is the Masala in Benavista, we decided to try Indian spice for the first time under recommendation of a friend another resident. Wow we were not disappointed the staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive especially Sonny who had time for a small chat. The food was excellent I asked for the chicken madras to be extra spicy and it didn’t disappoint it was exactly how I like it. In fact all the food was good. Their Indian food is consistently good and the best I have had the pleasure of sampling on the coast after Khans (temporarily closed) and Mumtaz in Puerto Banus.

I do find it slightly odd that no poppadoms are offered as a complimentary snack as most Indian venues do however I’m just nit picking.

They have introduced a Chinese offering on their menu which we decided to try and would not recommend it. We sampled a vermicelli noodle chicken dish which was not good I’m afraid.
