I enjoyed my meal which was the special steak they advertise. Asked for medium cooked but I would say it was rare. Luckily I can eat it like that. The service really let this place down. It wasn't busy but took ages for us to be seated. Two other sets of people waited a while with one couple walking away and the others had to bring themselves to the attention of the waiter. The dessert menu wasn't offered to us and we had to grab someone's attention and it wasn't even busy. The young waiter was doing his best while the older one who I suspect is the owner was on his phone while people were waiting. We love Italian food and this restaurant was close by so we gave it a go. Sadly …. The food was not what we expected at all. The tuna we ordered was a beautiful piece of fish but soaked in soya sauce. The taste of fish was undetectable. We asked for a new piece without the soya sauce soup and our complaint was accepted. Sadly the new piece was overcooked and seasoned generously with salt so it wasn’t pleasurable to eat. We also ordered some pizzas. They were not exactly what we expected either. The tomato sauce was salty and the pastry was undercooked. The Ice cream served as the part of the children’s meal were half melted. Strolled in as the place seemed to have a good vibe, a good fill level and I was in the mood for Italian. Safe to say I didn't enjoy anything food wise. My waiter was good bar the excessive gaps in service but forgivable given the busyness of the restaurant as a whole. We got the arancini or as named in the restaurant "rice croquetas", odd taste of chemical prawn cocktail from them, good to see they were handmade but wouldn't ever subject myself to eat it again.
