Tierra y Mar — Restaurant in Benalmádena

Wanted to try here because it was very local to our accomodation and it has good reviews. The man serving appeared very unwelcoming from the start... it's as if he was irritated that he had to serve us. Poor menu options. No menu for tapas only on displayed poster which was difficult to see if you're not sat close. Limited choices, was advised tapas were £3 each, got two and in the end paid £4.75 for one of them. Got a fried calamari dish, was asked if I wanted fries but we did not as thought this was an extra. Looked at the menu shortly after and it looks like you get rusansalad or potatoes with the meals, yet we were not advised of this when ordering. Mentioned this upon receiving food and very rude response that ' but I have already asked you before if you want fries and you said no'. Yes but here it says you can get rusa salad or potatoes. Was told we'll get our salad no problem but he looked so angry Received a basic lettuce cucumber onion salad yet the choice was rusa. Couldn't be bothered dealing with this rude server anymore. Had our food and got the bill. Received the change and was asked if everything was alright as soon I was picking up the change of coins... don't expect any tips for this...

We were there this summer, late June. Absolute delight! This is where you want to go in Benalmadena, where locals eat. There are 4 bars/restaurants in that building alone:) Everyone knows each other it seems, the owner was great! Prices were so reasonable, we had multiple items on the menu, because we came back two days later after the first visit. Loved it there, love Spain, love Benalmadena. Didn't get to try their Sunday Paella, but I am already looking for the apartments for next summer. We will be back someday. Thank you Belgium and...

Unfortunately I had to wait a long time just to get the menu.

The food was good, I had the Rosada la plancha. Fresh nice sallad along with it and 3 whole potatoes which is plenty more than most other restaurants around here serve with their grilled fish.

The location is alright with the little park next to it but nothing special. The restaurant doesn't have much atmosphere
