First visit staying across the road from this Wonderful Authentic restaurant. First time in Benelmedena .Our 1st visit .on our 1st day here .we had pizza to die for .thin crusty tasty cheese mushroom..and shrimp tapas .large Langoustines. Beer an wine service wonderful wife and husband team welcoming .just out of this world if visiting aplease go to this restaurant. Also our last day we had more food squid ..crouquets handmade .more shrimp. Amazing pizza. Fries . Drinks ..top quality and so cheap...Make this restaurant IL RIFUGIO a must visit...thank.you owners...

What a fantastic place! We found this restaurant by chance and were so impressed by the food and the service. There were some lovely tapas dishes but also a good selection of pizza and pasta. Our children shared a pizza which they were kind enough to make half margarita and half pepperoni, and it was cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed the meat-stuffed olives and we all loved ‘Grandma’s special’ which was a lemon tart with almonds and peanuts. We loved it so much that we shared the first one and then couldn’t resist...

El restaurante se encuentra en una plaza con un ambiente tranquilo donde corre el aire perfectamente si hace calor. Nada más llegar, nos recibieron con mucha confianza y una gran sonrisa. Nos tratan con mucho cariño, cosa que se agradece y contribuye a la comodidad del cliente. En todo momento se preocupaban por qué no nos faltara nada. Hay una variedad de entrantes deliciosos, si vienes, no dudes en pedir algún entrante porque no te arrepentirás. Se piden por unidad, así que te aseguras de comer justo lo que quieras y probar cuanto quieras sin llenarte. El resto de platos también están buenísimos y se nota que se cocina con muchísimo amor y dedicación consiguiendo todo el sabor de Italia. La recomendación es la especialidad de la casa, un filete empanado de pollo con salsa de gorgonzola, delicioso. Si te da curiosidad por la bebida italiana, hay unos cuantos vinos que puedes pedir, si es que te gustan los vinos. Y también hay postres. Si traes niños que no suelen comer cosas más elaboradas, dispone de un menú para niños. En mi opinión, completísimo. Incluso en la despedida, la dueña se acercó a despedirnos con una sonrisa en la cara agradeciéndonos por venir a comer. Sin duda lo llevan personas maravillosas, al igual...
