Mercadona in Arroyo de la Miel re-opened after pause for renovation and there are several improvements that deserve to be praised,i.a. new comfortable shopping carts, new stand with warm food (paella!), bags in fruit and vegetable division can be used much easier in "anti-coronavirus" gloves, price tags for fish finally in right spots and in more comfortable freezer and several other details. I am going to take this opportunity to say,for balance, also something critical. Information about renovation and the period of closure lasting many days came without smallest notice and I saw many people - including myself - coming surprised to see the closed store. This does not get you a good PR. 2 weeks prior notice would be reasonable and respectful for your customers. The other detail is - if you announce something in store - please use better quality speakers or inceease volume because it can't be heard and understood. Again communication is your minus. On positive side, the staff is very nice, patient and helpful. They all deserve a fair raise for working for us all during so hard times....

I'm thoroughly impressed with Mercadona supermarket in Benalmadena! This store has become my go-to for all my grocery needs. The staff are always friendly and helpful, making shopping a pleasure.
The selection of products is fantastic, with a great range of fresh produce, meats, and seafood. I love their own-brand products – they're affordable and delicious! The store is well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate.
Prices are very competitive, and I've found that I can get everything I need without breaking the bank. The checkout process is efficient, and the staff are always smiling.
What really stands out is the quality of the products. I've tried many of their items, and they've consistently been fresh and tasty. Whether I'm shopping for daily essentials or special ingredients, Mercadona has got me covered.
Overall, I'm so impressed with Mercadona Benalmadena that I wouldn't shop anywhere else! If you're looking for a great supermarket experience, look no further. 👍🏼💯 Five stars isn't enough – I'd give them ten...
Read moreMercadonna in arroyo de la miel near Paloma park is a nightmare. Parking is very stressful and you do well not to bang into numerous pillars as you try to manoeuvre your car in the carpark which has obviously been designed and constructed by someone who has a desire to cause annoyance. Once you get into the supermarket it's the same problem. Poorly designed aisles ,(it's almost a high level maze) constant banging into other shoppers and then little room to queue when paying. Mercadonna is generally my favourite supermarket but avoid this one or you could be on your way to the chemist to buy anti-stress...
