I go here for breakfast and coffee almost every day. They also have delicious tapas in the evening and afternoon. For breakfast my husband and I get the same thing every day. Within a week they all knew our order: two coffees, a serranito de cerdo for me and a tostada con ajo, tomate, y aciete for my husband. Both are excellent examples of traditional toasts/sandwiches. Now when we arrive they come over and ask us, "¿como siempre?" and within minutes our food arrives. They have an extensive breakfast menu with pitufos (or pan integral or molletes) of any variety you want. Their menu is in English and Spanish, although, as is often the case with translated menus, some things are not as clear in their English description. In addition to everything on their menu, they will customize your breakfast to whatever they have the ingredients for, including omletes and the like. We often also go here for tapas in the evening. Our two favorite dishes are their Croquetas de Rabo and the Habas (we order them with a fried egg on top as the combination is delicious) but everything we have tried has been of good quality and taste. My favorite thing about La Taperia is their wide selection of seating. Inside they have several tables and bar seating available. Outside they have a ton of tables, about half of which are protected from the rain and wind on inclimate days. This is a family run establishment and, at least in the mornings, you will usually find one of the two brothers and/or the sister (Carmen, who is an amazing server, very attentive and friendly with a great memory for return customers). The father is also often there behind the bar. Ther clearly all take great pride in their restaurant and they do a great job pairing good food with excellent service.

Great little tapas bar / restaurant in Benalmadena Pueblo. Situated just off the main street on the way down the hill and the church spa is one of the great little stops in Benalmadena Pueblo. With a really extensive menu and some really good meals such as cariada ( pigs Cheeks) Super tasty one of the favourites and this one is cooked really nice also tried the Rosada on the hot plate, both plates were served with fritters chips and some salad. The staff were really helpful they were very attentive and gave us some really good service as the seats were out on the terrace near the roadside where you could watch the world go bye. The range of tapas inside were really extensive and very nice. Overall very good service very nice food may be a little expensive but it’s in the Pueblo and obviously the tourists go there quite a lot.

We were an 8 person table for lunch. Five persons ordered the tapas dishes, and three of us ordered meat dishes. The tapas dishes came to the table after 5 minutes and were delishous. However, the first of the three meat dishes came after 40 minutes, the next after 50 minutes and the last one after nearly an hour(!!!) of waiting. My dish (broiled pork) was cooked in a way where the texture was like eating the bottom of my shoe. No communication from staff while waiting at all. Our glasses were empty for at least 30 mins and also empty while eating the dry meat. No discount offered at check out. I would never go here again. Terrible!

This is the best restaurant during our stay in Costa del Sol. Food was deli, good size portions, service was amazing and very affordable. Our server Tomas was very nice, funny and took great care of us. We ordered the mushrooms croquettes, the Pincho Moron (chicken skeewer), tosta de carne mecha, berenjenas and a flan. All food was amazing. We had a wonderful time. Service was the best. I strongly recomend it. There is a parking very close in the morador, like 5 min walking distance.

Unfortunately we arrived to the restaurant at a very busy period (even it was off-season), and also they forgot our food I guess, so we were waiting for our meal more than 1 hour. Otherwise, I can recommend the place; food was delicious and really Andalusian! Don't go to the big cities if you want to try real local food, choose these smaller ones instead! Much cheaper and much better!

Tapas alfresco! Service of a neighborhood bar. Great tapas! I recomemend the garlic snails, but rhe olives, meatballs, spanish frittata were all excellent choices. Not completely free, I do not think we drank enough! Not easy to get to, limited parking, steep hills, try to park above and walk (There is a public park above with parking)
