We visited Yucas yesterday as a table of 3 , and unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the beautiful setting. To start, there were a lot of flies around our table, which made it quite uncomfortable. Thankfully, the waitress was helpful and tried to fix the issue by covering the overhead light with a cloth, which actually did help a bit – credit to her for that. We ordered wine with our meal, but it didn’t arrive until we asked again – a small thing, but frustrating when you're trying to enjoy a relaxing evening. I ordered a steak medium, and it arrived rare. I sent it back, and while they did bring it back cooked correctly the second time, they forgot to bring any cutlery, so I had to ask again before I could eat it. What really let the evening down, though, was that the third person in our group (who’s birthday it was ) didn’t receive their meal until we had already finished ours. No real apology, no offer to compensate – it just felt like a lack of care. Although the view and location are genuinely stunning, the service was disorganised, and the attention to detail was lacking throughout. With the prices being on the higher side, we expected a much smoother experience. Although I have been 4 times before I won’t be...
Read moreUsed to be good, but now just overpriced and with an attitude. The place is lovely & visited on both dinner and drinks occasions before, but having 6 free unset tables outside and refuse service ?? When asked why , I was told only restaurant guests are allowed to sit there, though previously was ok. They are not even on the main deck, the ones by the staircase.
The whole layout is silly as you get told full upstairs and as cafe and restaurant uses same bathroom you pass all the empty tables. Bathroom was in great need of attendance - had no toilet paper, no paper towels and flooded with water. So since no space upstairs , if you wanna have a copa or coffee (note priced at 3.5eur, which is at least double the price of local area charge for a cup ) you cannot. That said coffee is great, my point is service and attitude doesn't match the price ask.
Used to be good, but attitude and poor management now - will not be...
Read moreMy honest opinion? This is such a deceptive place, not talking about the rooftop cafe (They are very professional), but the restaurant and bar at the very bottom. It seems to be a sharp place but soon you'll find out the only thing sharp over there are the prices. Notwithstanding the service, most of the time panicking around even when they've got a few tables. The final product is definitely inappropriate because of the quality-quantity-price relationship, is way out of proportions. You'll get charged double the price for a wine bottle than anywhere else around the area for the very same bottle of wine, and that's the local deal... I have heard tourists are being charged with higher prices! What a scam! Then you can even tell if this is an Italian restaurant, Chinese or thai...
Very disappointed with this visit, a "waste" of my time...
