The food was disappointing, and the service was very poor.

We went on a Tuesday night, and the restaurant was almost empty. Despite this, we felt like we were bothering the waiter. He rushed us through the meal, and when we asked for a doggy bag, he just tossed an aluminum container onto the table and left us to fill it ourselves. The lids didn’t even fit properly. The service was truly bad.

As for the food, my chicken korma was clearly not freshly prepared—it tasted industrial, like it came from a pre-packaged mix or dried sachet.

My boyfriend ordered the lamb biryani, and to our surprise, it included both lamb and chicken. It seemed like a cheap trick to cut costs by mixing meats.

We only came to this restaurant because our usual Indian place was closed on Tuesdays, but we definitely won’t be coming back.

I recommend going to Harry’s Restaurant in Benalmádena instead,they offer much better...

I'm a massive Indian fan so after reviewing previous comments I was excited...and when I say fan I've been to 50+ Indian restaurants across England.

Poppadoms - really nice with a great dipping selection

Starters - onion bajis and pakoras - really nice

Mains (for me) - chicken vindaloo - tasted really nice but lacked any spice you would expect from this type of curry. I advise to order it extra spicy.

Rice- Pilau rice - very Al dente. For me, it was undercooked as tasted hard.

Keema nann - not what it's like in England.. but was nicely cooked and very fresh. Really nice though.

Overall, the staff were really good and attentive. Can't fault them...the food..honestly....its not the best I've had but it's far from the worst ive had.

Plus a free shot of vodka and mango afterwards.

We had the best experience in the Indian Chef Benalmadena. We simply chose this restaurant based upon its previous reviews and it couldn’t have been better. The food was the best Indian food we’ve ever tasted and the service, what can I say it was exemplary. The waiter organised a birthday event when I alerted him it was my daughters 13th birthday, upon booking. He decorated the restaurant and laid petals on the table along with tea lights. He installed fairy lights, tinsel, and even purchased a birthday cake for her, such a wonderful guy. The dishes were cooked perfectly, they had spinach rice on the menu which is something we’ve never seen before, it was delicious. This place should be packed out every night, both key elements, the food and service were the best we’ve experienced and we’ve dined throughout five star establishments, but this place was...
