Tasca El Corralet — Restaurant in Benicàssim / Benicasim

Had the Chuleton it was the best steak I’ve had in Benicàssim if not the best steak I’ve I had at all while dining out anywhere. Can thoroughly recommend and hope it’s still on the menu when I return in September

2025 and I’m back to the best restaurant in benicassim with the best food and quite possibly the best service I have received in 16 years of visiting this area.

Massive respect for Mariana for the service and the laughs tonight she instantly recognised me from previous visits and couldn’t have been any more helpful, professional and an absolute delight to be around.

I am already looking forward to my next visit in 2026 if...

We were recommended this restaurant by local colleagues and it did not disappoint.

It was busy but they made space for us.

This is a Spanish town but our servers spoke to us with excellent English and seemed to appreciate our terrible Spanish attempts! They also provided a menu in English.

Value for money was excellent. Two people, a bottle of cava, sparkling water, 4 tapas dishes and 2 desserts came to around £60.

The food was exceptional. The langoustines were incredibly fresh and the patatas bravas were my favourite so far.

Our servers were so kind. Free digestifs, helping us with ordering and booking us a taxi.

Buono il cibo ma comportamento malandrino dei camerieri.

Sono stato qui con la mia compagna e i suoi genitori a “picotear algo”, abbiamo mangiato polpo, chipirones, seppia, bocherones due calici di vino e due birre (di cui una analcolica). Sottolineo che il cibo non era male, peccato però che ci è stato addebitato il pane (ovviamente richiesto con gli antipasti) a 0.8€ a PEZZO senza che però nel menu fosse indicato da nessuna parte il prezzo.

Facendolo presente al servizio di sala, quando sono andato a pagare, sono stati molto sorpresi e l’uomo è stato molto vago sull’argomento, cominciando a fare altre cose mentre stava in cassa perché dovevo pagare, mentre la signora ha prontamente indicato di togliere la voce dato che non era segnalata da nessuna parte nel menu. Considerato che neanche i calici di vino e le birre sono presenti nel menu cartaceo che viene consegnato al cliente, che poi sono due, fa pensare ovviamente male. Sappiate che c’è anche un menu con il qr che ho scoperto che c’era solo quando sono andato in cassa (dove comunque non è indicato il prezzo del pane, che per inciso, mai pagato in Spagna). In totale abbiamo pagato 76€.

Rivedo il commento in quanto, leggendo altri commenti, questa cosa del pane è reiterata nel tempo diversamente da quanto detto dai camerieri che hanno cambiato il menù da poco. Il pane va pagato, ma va indicato il prezzo da qualche parte. Così come altri ristoranti hanno il menù completo online/ fisico anche questo non può...
