Stars Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Benidorm

Updated: This place was recommended to me when I was looking for a decent salad in Benidorm even though it was out of my way, it was worth it. This was a Moroccan chicken salad with yogurt & mint dressing, it was lush. I asked which dressing they recommended as you can pick any on their list. Definitely a bit different to the standard, fresh raspberries and blueberries were sprinkled on it too. I also got a draft pinta of Alhambra, decent head on it. Next time I'll be bringing my boyf, the ultimate salad is calling my name... They also do afternoon tea, tapas, etc.

We've been back here repeatedly. Always for a pint, my favourite food they do is the ultimate salad usually with the coronation chicken, greek salad & roasted garlic potatoes. 🥗🥗🥗 My man's had different ones, their burger, their sloppy Joe's & their Moroccan chicken main, all tasty & made...

The food looks absolutely amazing here and I walked from the old town for tapas and sangria... but for the second time in 4 months we were told there would be a bit of a wait for food. Not an issue . I have no problem waiting but when I asked to place a food order, and having being told he would be over to take our order in a minute, then 20 minutes later and at least 4 other customers being served after this, we finished up our drinks and told them not to bother. Shame as we had recommended this bar to a number of friends, but not again. If he'd said come to the bar when you want to order, I'm fine with that too but I won't be taken for a fool again. It was a different story last September when customers were fewer on the ground. Best of luck if you go here, I'm sure you'll enjoy it if...

We ate here on monday. It was quite busy so the service was very slow. We heard a lot of good comment for this place and they are all right. The food was fantastic BUT!!!... we came back today saturday 19/03/22 to have something to eat but we are blatantly pushed away by the rude male owner in the bar as apparantly they are fully booked and the service will be longer as usual. We could have understand that they are busy..but its the manner of the way he talked to us..like a piece of s__!!! And the cannot be bothered attitude and being absolutely RUDE!!! to new customer...I think its not acceptable and for this reason WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS...
