Cable Ski BENIDORM — Attraction in Benidorm

Absolutely unacceptable service. I strongly do NOT recommend Cable Ski Benidorm.

We bought 4 tickets for a 2-hour session (€130 total). After just 30 minutes on the first day, everything stopped — their boat broke down, and the entire system became unusable.

We immediately explained that we were flying out the next day and requested a refund. They refused and told us that refunds were not possible, only a reschedule for the next morning.

Trying to be reasonable, we agreed — even though it messed up our plans. We came back the next day, right at opening time, and spent another €30 on a taxi (one way) just to get there. We had our return flight in the afternoon, so we calculated our timing precisely to make it work.

But guess what? The boat was still broken. No service again. We explained (again) that our flight was in a few hours, and we don’t have time to “wait and see if it gets fixed.” They shrugged it off and said the best they could offer was €10 refund — for a service that cost €130 and was never delivered properly.

Only after we insisted on speaking to the manager, and waited another 10 minutes, they agreed to refund €70. That’s still not fair, considering:

– We only got 25% of the service, – We spent money and time twice to come back, – We were misled about the refund policy, – And it was all entirely their fault.

This was a disgraceful customer experience. Technical issues happen — but the way this situation was handled was careless, unprofessional, and disrespectful. They tried to keep the money, lied about refund options, and wasted our time and money.

Never again. Avoid this place...

Very disappointing experience.

At the start the instructors explained everything to us ( however only 1 speaks good English ), they were encouraging and reassuring. We went as a group and paid over 100 euro for 2 hours. We got to ride 2 times some of us even just once. They had an issue with their boat and had to stop everything altogether which we understood. We were going out of town that night but they refused to give us a refund even though we had waited about 40 minutes for the boat to be fixed and it wasn’t in the end. They told us to come back another time or give our slot to some other person and this seemed so unreasonable to us. We cancelled plans and came back the next morning as we really wanted to have a go on the water however the boat was still broken and they still didn’t want to accommodate us with a refund. Not a good experience. I called to book a session and was told “we are not busy, no need to book a session” when we got there - we had to wait over 30 minutes every time to ride for just a couple seconds.

When I called, I asked for information about the prices and was totally scammed. I was told I would have to pay 20€ for an hour, when I got there, the price was very different. I had to pay 8€ extra for the board, 10€ for jumps, etc. The price end up being 46€ which is absolutely ridiculous considering what I had been told on the phone.

Whenever you let go of the cable, a lady will pick you up by boat from the designated platforms. This lady is fun if you speak Spanish, however she will be insanely rude and even yell at you if you are not a Spanish speaker.

You might be lucky and be photographed at some point, but these pictures will be terribly overpriced once you say you are interested.
