We went to Laterracica today for lunch. It's new and local so we thought we would show our support. The food was awful. We ordered a garlic bread, which arrived undercooked and cold. The staff replaced it which again was undercooked and cold. I ordered a wrap advertised as chicken and feta. It had limited chicken, which was processed and processed cubes of white cheese (not feta). It was dripping wet liquid all over my plate, so I didn't eat it. My partner ordered a club sandwich, which was two slices of bread, not three. They asked if he wanted chips with it. He said yes. The chips were a few at the side of the plate , not the €2.80 worth we paid. The bill came and was €35. No apologies, no cost ommision for the cold garlic bread x 2. Just came back from a casual dinner with wife and my elderly parents. A quiet Sunday evening so not many people but with the bar next door and some nice background music it made a nice atmosphere. The service was excellent and not overly quick even if was quiet dont know if would be if busy but Im sure would be good. I dont like eating out but I felt content good portions felt clean and nice quality salad was great and the wraps juicy and filling. Chips not greasy and crunchy. I'm pretty sure this is the restaurant at the new Benisol commercial centre benijofar, so if so the location here on Google maps is incorrect. It's a great place offering modern tapas, pizzas, breakfasts, snacks etc. It's only just opened, the staff are attentive and friendly and the food is excellent. The views from the terrace are fabulous and just after 9pm we have watched the flamingos fly overhead. Further update - We have now been here many more times, the food is amazing and the staff are fabulous, very friendly and helpful, a special thanks to Walter and Steph....
