Restaurante La Luna — Restaurant in Benijófar

We visited La Luna last night for the first time and had dinner. The set menu has something for everyone. There is a fantastic selection of starters and mains, and I understand the menu changes slightly every week depending on produce. We had the soup and salad to start with. I really do recommend the bacon and walnut salad, it was absolutely delicious. My partners soup was also lovely. Our mains were the salmon pasta and the pork cheek with mash. Both mains were perfect. The pork cheek was so tender and melt in the mouth. In the last photograph, you can see exactly what I mean. Beautiful. To finish the meal off dessert was cheese cake. This was our 3rd visit in total visited last year while on holiday also this year Set eve menu was ok, too many add on surcharges for some dishes, this meant your choice became limited without paying extra even on starters. 3 euro for a glass of wine is also expensive, as most charge 1.40 euro Last years menu on our visits were better and i only remember 1 add on for steak , which is fine. Great restaurant before lockdown in March went tonight for first time since then felt like I was in the way of a cleaning regime just served my mains as staff member decide to spray table chairs and everything else with copious amounts of disinfectant completely overpowered the food the drink and my lungs and I know people will say they've got to clean but surely customer enjoyment should be paramount to a business cleaning secondary otherwise you wont have customers it's a shame paranioa as taken over good luck see you...
