Cafetería Bar Sonia — Restaurant in Benijófar

I have been going to this restaurant for many years and love it. But lately, after last year, I was disappointed with the service. I can write two cases. last year my husband ordered a hot sandwich. and brought him two different sandwiches. he was surprised and didn't order anything. Apparently, the young waitress made a mistake and complained to the older waiter or (I don’t know who she is), who came up to us. She scolded that they cooked two sandwiches in vain and it was expensive for that. Still, it's not our fault. now the second. Recently, my son and I ordered a hot dish for him (which costs 20 euros, it’s definitely not cheap). Dish: meat and potatoes fried with something. Really tasty. And they served a small portion and I was surprised why it was not enough, almost half a plate. I showed a photo in which there used to be such a dish with a large portion, not like now. This woman, the head waiter, waved her hands and explained nothing clearly. It was unpleasant towards us as customers. Why are we so deceived? the price is the most, but the portion is not. Went for tapas today since the usual was closed and it was disgusting: things that didn’t require cooking we’re alright, however the hot food ordered was greasy and nasty,the battered chicken came complete with a workers hair deep fried on a plate full grease and the fat it was cooked in needed changing since it left a vile aftertaste,the meatballs looked as if they have came straight out of a can and the pork in tomato was chewy and once again greasy.The only hot plate we enjoyed was the veal.For five people it come to 71 Euros including drinks but we had to request clean glasses as the ones given were dirty.The only waitress outside was cheerful and helpful and was doing the best she could. Worst food and service I've had in Spain.Arrived about 1pm went in side about 7 people at tables 5 staff on .ordered drinks 15 min wait,ordered food 40 min wait. During that time all staff bar 1 disappeared into kitchen.
