The Reservation: when we attempted to eat there we were told that we need to reserve 3 days in advance if we want to eat there on a weekend, so we attempted to book a table 5 times on 5 different days but each time we were given some excuse that the person doing the booking is on a break or not here or something else and they always referred us to call the number even though that would mean i need to make an international call just to book a table. accepting this fact we then tried to call the number on the card and the one in their google maps contact details and neither number picked up the phone after numerous attempts. after this we were almost at a point that we simply just did not want to bother with it as it was too much of a hassle, but we decided to go one more time in person and they started with their usual mantra of the person doing the booking is not here call the number and at that point we explained our numerous attempts and have even brought to their attention that the reserve a table function on their google maps and on their facebook profile do not work. (to the latter they simply said to tell this to their online team. so here we are.) and then the person went to the back for 3 minutes and appeared with a tablet that he then used to reserve a table for us. (this should have been the first thing they do)

The Experience: once at the restaurant we were sat at our table and had a lovely view and time. we ordered champagne and while they did open the bottle they did not do the honor of pouring at least the first glass. (we did look across the restaurant and saw that other waiters were doing this and so it is clearly something they normally do in this restaurant but simply our waiter did not want to do so) we were having some other drinks as well at the time and thought that it might be the case that they did not want to purchase us two drinks, but once we finished our other drinks and they came to clean it away they still did not provide that experience.

The Meal: Starters: We ordered snails and oysters for starters. Oysters were amazing but the snail was something new we wanted to try but turned out we were too ambitious with it (this is not the restaurants fault as they were quite tasty)

Main Course: For our main course we ordered tuna tartar and the octopus. The tuna tartar turned out very tasty, however the octopus turned out rubbery to a point that i was barely able to cut it with the knife provided to me and the taste was quite bland which did not mix well with the sauce on the side of the plate.

After the main course we decided that we have experienced enough from this restaurant and have decided that in the future we will not likely go through the pain of reserving a table to become a...

I didn’t even dare to order anything there. Terrible experience! As soon as I walked in, I was being ignored by the waitress. I kept standing in the middle of the restaurant and no one seems to care. I finally decided to reach out to a waitress and as I was coming and stood in front of him he seemed to be avoiding eye contact. I asked if I should just sit anywhere or wait to be seated and he still did not look at me and just answered “the restaurant is full we have just seats on the Terraza”. With the waitress in the Terraza same experience.. Careless so I knew by then that this was NOT a place worth a penny of my money. I think tourists in general should start reading reviews before choosing places and start boycotting places like this to force them to improve and/or go out of business! The experiences I read in the reviews are not acceptable!! Please do not put up with rudeness and bad behaviour just because you may be enjoying your Holidays in Blanes and perhaps a one off bad experience may not seem a concern for you! I’m not stepping there again and it became a practice to me to read google reviews before choosing where to spend my money! I DO NOT...

Ok disappointed to say the least for a premium location Venu,. Prepared pre-warmed starters were served quickly, maincourse T-bone steak for two,. extremely disappointed in this fatty gristled steak that was in fact only sirloin sided with no fillet side. With nothing but a handfull of.frozen fries. No veg nothing extra.there.is a lot to learn by this restaurant from the competition close by. Don't be.fooled.by the patio and the drinks. It was served with no cutlery as this was.removed after.the starters and had to be brought to attention after nearly 10 mins.of waiting,
