Wandered like a true tourist straight from La Caleta and wanted food. Heard jovial voices and when I got near I saw a small, old but inviting small restaurant. Greeted by a chap who everyone would love as a grandad and told to sit down. My partner is fluent in Spanish and it was sometime before I could order! Within minutes a fresh tortillla arrived with the egg still cooking - utterly unassuming place making the most wonderful, traditional food. Read moreI cannot say enough great things about this place. Seven of us originally came here to get some mackerel; despite what Google says, they don't have it. We ended up ordering nearly half the menu, and as seven large American men, we couldn't finish everything. There's not one bad item on the menu. On top of it, any time we finished a beer, we were already being asked if we wanted another.
At the end they brought out what I believe was limoncello, but it tasted like a piece of mint chocolate was inside. It was the perfect way to end the meal

The service was outstanding as well. Our server was always smiling, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything was served quickly.
This bar also offers gazpacho that has won a competition, but unfortunately, it’s only available in summer, so we didn’t get to try it.
