English review: we've been in Spain for ~month and this was another underwhelming dining experience. We ordered the Berenjenas con miel which is fried eggplant with honey or molasses and they were ok but eventually too sweet. Luckily our nice waiter, Gio, talked us into getting the 1/2 portion not the full racion. Then we ordered the gambas al ajillo and japuta en adobo which seemed more like fried fish nuggets: both were not something I would order again. I had been wanting to try gambas al ajillo for awhile and finally I get the chance and it simply wasn't as good as it could be. This is just simple cooking logic that I should've realized; you can't have shrimp sitting in boiling hot oil, because they'll overcook in less than 5 minutes. Maybe the way to serve this dish is with a strainer fixed above a bowl with the cooked shrimp sitting in the strainer above the bowl of hot oil, but how it's served now, sitting in a bowl of boiling oil, is completely wrong unless you're going to eat your shrimp in less than 2 minutes.
Spanish food is extremely overrated and it's basically just snacks/bar food which really isn't food. Simple logic: if Spanish food was truly good, the whole world would be eating it like how the world eats Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Korean even American food which isn't really food, it's more food science. Nobody will read my English review and I'm sure there's something on this menu that's good, and I don't want to hurt any business, so I'll give 5 stars, but c'mon Spain, figure out how to make your food! I'm an objective person; my country's language(English) and measuring system (imperial) don't make a lot of sense, but Spanish food is on that same nonsensical list.
The kitchen is open from 1100-2330 and it's closed on Wednesday. They take...
Read moreDaría 2 estrellas y media. Sitio con buena ubicación. Terraza estrecha y con suelo algo inclinado. Carta moderadamente amplia.

Don't leave Córdoba without trying the Spanish tortilla from Güena Gente on Avda de Càdiz. Very Spanish, a wedge with a lot of 🇪🇦 accent.
J. A good place without a doubt to eat near the Jewish Quarter and the Mosque of Córdoba. Between the riverbank and the two bridges..Av. Cadiz. Good kitchen and quiet dining room. The service is very good and the client feels at home outside of it. Great letter. I recommend the flamenco style potatoes, its knuckle and oxtail...accompany it with a Cordoban salmorejo. Bon Appetit...
