Great break from the town in this tranquil spot. You can easily spend an hour or so wondering around the many gardens. Suggest you take water as nowhere to buy anything once inside and the toilets are at the very far side by the exit, so go prepared. As you first enter the Alcazar building, there is a corridor on your left. Enter it and turn left again going back on yourself. There on your right is a little opening with stairs upto the top of the Lion Tower. Worth a climb for great views of both the gardens and Cathedral Mosque.

The buildings are not that spectacular inside, but the gardens are very beautiful. Very nicely trimmed trees, pools and various flowers. You should spend the visit mostly in the gardens. For the ticket, you must make an online reservation first and then you can buy the ticket at the entrance. You can make the reservation directly at the entrance, on your smartphone - there is a QR code with a link to make the reservation for a specific hour (you can enter earlier also, no problem). The ticket costs 5 EUR.

The highlight of our journey to the Andalusia. Enjoy the beautiful gardens and their shadows. Take a picture or two from the incredible blue pools and the beautiful surrounding flowers. The beautifully trimmed pines or cypress are really nice. Take your time at the fountain under the lemon trees and enjoy the tranquil of the water. The only problem is after the visit. As there are no taxis on the exit and you should go back uphill to the entrance area. So do not forget to bring some cold water with.

Entrance to the gardens is included in the entrance to Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs After the tour of the Alcazar, we head towards the gardens. Blessings with landscaped gardens and trees all around, I really enjoyed walking around the gardens and trees. There is also a very special hammam on the way that you should not miss. Spend at least an hour there Come with something to eat and sit in one of the cute corners to enjoy the magical atmosphere

Very poor - most things in the garden are under reconstruction and not in good shape. The building itself is essentially one long line to get up to the top of the tower to look out over the whole mess. Signage faded and illegible. Ticket scanners not working. Total chaos and not worth your time, even though there are moments of real beauty and clearly historic significance here. Needs proper investment and maintenance.

Two words: serenity and grace! These beautifully landscaped gardens are an absolutely unforgettable experience. Suitable for kids of any age group. I would especially recommend these gardens to kids aged 5 and up as they can see orange, pomerganate, fig trees and multiple fountains. From the exit of the gardens, it takes just a few minutes to walk to the regal Roman bridge of Cordoba.
