We had the pleasure of dining at Terra Olea in November, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. A few days before our reservation, the restaurant called to ask about any allergies, which showed their attention to detail. When we arrived, the waitress was incredibly kind and took the time to explain every dish in detail, which made us feel both welcomed and informed. The local products they use are simply outstanding, back in Germany we had to order the same olive oil that we tried there. The price-to-quality ratio is remarkable; the meal felt like such a luxurious experience at a very reasonable price. After two weeks of traveling through Andalucía and dining at various restaurants, we can say that Terra Olea was the best food we had during our trip 🙂. As a kind gesture, they offered us some local sweets at the end, but after such an incredible feast, I probably wouldn’t take them again. The sweets, while thoughtful, slightly overshadowed the exquisite flavors of the main meal. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it’s a must-visit if you’re in Córdoba!

Celebrating my birthday in Córdoba, we decided to go for this restaurant, even though it was located a bit outside the city center (30min walk from our hotel). We ended up not regretting that AT ALL! We had 2 Flos tasting menus with 13 courses (make sure to reserve your table in advance as they need to know the quantity of the dishes beforehand to prepare well) and were absolutely stunned by everything!!! The presentation was stunning, the plates everything was served in really beautiful & special, the taste of everything, the wines to go along with the food that we had suggested, the place itself, which felt really nice, calm and elegant, but nothing over the top. We were hesitant about the sizes of the portions, whether we would have enough to eat or if we would have to order something else in the end, but it was the perfect quantity to leave the table pleasantly filled by the end of the meal. Our waitress was really friendly too and we were able to spend a wonderful evening 😊 One of the best restaurants I have been to and for sure the best one in Cordoba!!! 👏🏼

Y para un cordobés como yo, cada pase del menú fue un regreso a casa: los ibéricos del Valle de los Pedroches, los quesos de Fuente Obejuna, los vinos de Montilla-Moriles, los aceites de Baena… Un viaje por las denominaciones de origen que definen esta tierra y que me devolvieron, casi sin avisar, a mi infancia. A los peroles de arroz los domingos en la sierra, a esa naranja con azúcar y aceite después de las migas, al ritual de rebañar las gachas del cazo aún calientes que mi madre prepara con ese cariño, esto es Córdoba. Gracias, Paco y Sole, por devolverme el orgullo de sentirme cordobés.

We had 2 Flos tasting menus with 13 courses (make sure to reserve your table in advance as they need to know the quantity of the dishes beforehand to prepare well) and were absolutely stunned by everything!!! The presentation was stunning, the plates everything was served in really beautiful & special, the taste of everything, the wines to go along with the food that we had suggested, the place itself, which felt really nice, calm and elegant, but nothing over the top. We were hesitant about the sizes of the portions, whether we would have enough to eat or if we would have to order something else in the end, but it was the perfect quantity to leave the table pleasantly filled by the end of the meal. En Terra Olea, cada plato guarda una memoria. Y para un cordobés como yo, cada pase del menú fue un regreso a casa: los ibéricos del Valle de los Pedroches, los quesos de Fuente Obejuna, los vinos de Montilla-Moriles, los aceites de Baena… Un viaje por las denominaciones de origen que definen esta tierra y que me devolvieron, casi sin avisar, a mi infancia. A los peroles de arroz los domingos en la sierra, a esa naranja con azúcar y aceite después de las migas, al ritual de rebañar las gachas del cazo aún calientes que mi madre prepara con ese cariño, esto es Córdoba.

Un menú redondo desde sus aperitivos, con su premiada croqueta o la ventresca. Luego, el salmorejo o ese puerro que aún permanece en mi memoria. El atún y el arroz de campiña se ganaron un lugar para el recuerdo, al igual que los postres, que me regalaron un golpe de nostalgia por una tierra que, lo reconozco, no visito tanto como debería.
