Incredibly kind staff with working knowledge of English. Tons of vegetarian and gluten free options. Delicious margaritas (try the mango one!). I had the three "foodies" quesadillas vegetarian style. The huitalacoche was phenomenal. The Chipotle hot salsa has awesome smoky flavor but I wish it was spicier! I ordered vegetarian enchiladas for carry out as well. The waiter was very nice and we switched on and off between speaking Spanish and English to one another. They have an English version of their menu which is helpful for people who are visiting that aren't proficient in Spanish. I recommend a reservation! It is a tiny but adorable restaurant with retro toys lining the walls. I was lucky because I was dining solo and showed up right around open but I can imagine they get on a wait most nights. I will definitely be returning to try...

Me and my Girlfriend were visiting Cordoba on our travels around Spain. In the 3 weeks we have been here and eaten in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Toledo.

I can say with absolute confidence that this was by far the best meal we have had here. It's was extremely fresh and light which is not how I placed mexican food before I ate here. They freshly make their nachos daily and they taste NOTHING like you'd expect. The marriage of flavours here is literally like a party in your mouth. They are also very accomodating, our waiter was very keen for us to ask questions and was very helpful describing food. I think it is a family place, as the staff seem to really care about their product, and seem very happy when we told them how much we'd enjoyed our visit.

Normalmente escribo pocas reseñas pero es que ésta la veía necesaria. Para mi el cielito lindo es más bien un cielito encapotado y me quedo corta. Llamo un jueves al media día para reservar para las 14:30 y me dicen que reservan hasta las 13:45. Le pregunto que si pueden hacer una excepción por media hora aunque sea que mi amiga viene de Madrid en el ave. Y me contesta chulescamente, que normalmente a su restaurante viene gente de fuera. Paso de largo el comentario, y a las 14:30 me presento con mi amiga para ver si hay algún sitio en aquel sitio tan ocupado y pintoresco al que nunca habíamos ido. Llegamos y estaba prácticamente vacío. Entramos y nos dice el buen hombre que nos esperemos afuera en la calle mientras nos prepara la mesa. Nosotras flipando cn la actitud nos salimos fuera. La comida demasiado grasienta, los nachos no eran nachos porque eran blandengues, la carne y el queso teníamos que cogerlos con tenedor porque era imposible “dipear”. La margarita era zumo de limón, vaya que por 5.5€ le pedi que le echara tequila. La comida me supo todo igual, con queso y guacamole, muy grasienta. No es comida mexicana, quizás los caramelos que regalan sean lo único mexicano. Al pagar, me dice que debe ser efectivo, y menos mal que llevamos algo de dinero! Le pregunto si da alguna facilidad a los clientes para pagar con tarjeta y me dice que en la vida, tal cual. Con una actitud déspota me dice que sus clientes vienen siempre con dinero en efectivo, que no le hace falta mas clientes y que factura super bien y no le hace falta más gente. Una respuesta fuera d lugar. A la gente que monta un restaurante de este tipo, le gusta vender, gustar y agradar, pero se ve que al dueño le sobran los dineros y no piensa en el cliente en absoluto. Comentando que gana X al mes, que tiene a 5 personas en nomina… pero chico que te he preguntado por facilidades al pagar!!! Fui a este sitio por la publicidad en instagram ya que parecía majo el dueño y tenia ganas de ir a tener una experiencia en el restaurante, y l experiencia me la ha dado, pero de gordo. Una persona tan déspota y sobrada que no piensa en el cliente y en agradarlo, para mi no tiene ni una estrella, mas bien una X. Cielito nublado, encapotado o mas bien negro. Hay muchos restaurantes mexicanos en córdoba con mejor comida mexicana, ambiente, sitio (si no quieres que te escuche la mesa d al lado masticar de lo enano que es) y sobre todo...
