Have been coming to Cadaques for years and La Sal's reputation is attached to a yoyo Waited several minutes to be seated whilst staff chatted Then the lady takes us, out of maybe 12 free tables, to the ONLY dirty one. Seats us then cleans it Food was delicious, as it so often is, the truffle tortilla omelette is amazing for example Then we wait, as do all the tables around us, no staff to be seen on our side of the restaurant The French ladies alongside us give and get a menu to see what they need to pay, put the money on the table and leave swearing We waited forty minutes just to pay, and then to staff who were rude about it as did all the tables around us. Speaking to them all in three languages no one could believe their service and attitude being so poor So despite the good food, sadly until they bring the good staff back, neither I nor any of those other tables...

El sitio tiene unas bonitas vistas de la playa y la verdad ante eso nada que decir. La comida está bastante bien, quizás la única pega es que respecto a los menús del día (tienen 2, uno de 22.95€ y otro de 26.95€), deben elegir todos el mismo menú. Si una persona quiere el de 26.95 y otra el de 22.95 no te dejan. Un poco raro pero bueno. Las dos estrellas que le doy al servicio son por lo siguiente: antes de decidirnos a entrar, nos fijamos en una pizarra que había justo en la puerta donde ponía CLARAMENTE menú a 22.95€ con BEBIDAS INCLUIDAS. Algo que nos llamó la atención y nos hizo decidirnos por esa opción. Nuestra sorpresa fue que al preguntarle a la camarera (que te repite en varias ocasiones que es su segundo día de trabajo, para así evitar explicaciones de cosas del menú o de los platos que no tiene ni idea), si la cerveza estaba incluida en las bebidas nos dijo que la caña si. Pues bien al pedir al final la cuenta, vimos que también nos habían cobrado a parte dos NESTEA( marca LIPTON). A lo que recurrimos diciéndoles que en la pizarra de fuera habíamos visto que ponía bebidas incluidas en el menú de 22.95€. Su respuesta fue que no, que fuera lo especificaba claramente y para asegurarse esa “jugada” habían guardado hacía un rato la pizarra para que no hubiese pruebas de la MENTIRA que nos estaban COLANDO. Ya no es solo por los casi 7€ de más que te clavan por dos bebidas (que entraban con el menú) si no el hecho de querer engañar de esa manera y mentirte EN TU PROPIA CARA. En fin, un detalle bastante feo la verdad por su parte, y no fuimos los únicos que tuvimos problemas ya que dos mesas de al lado nuestra, estaban también quejándose y el camarero pidiendo disculpas. Se aprovechan de que la gente que va allí por lo general, son turistas y van de paso unos días, ya que si ese lugar fuera de un pueblo o una ciudad, en la que acostumbra a repetir mucho la gente como restaurante diario de comer o cenar, se les habría caído la cara de vergüenza hace tiempo. En fin, un detalle feo e innecesario que mancha un lugar que es bonito y con unas vistas...

We went to this place because it was the only one open at that time, we were greeted by a very unpleasant waitress who denied us to seat in the outside tables and minutes later some random local people came and with no reservation were allowed to seat there. The point is that she had a bad attitude my wife ask for a recommendation and her answer was “im not in the mood for recommendation pick whatever you want” the food was very dull and the service was horrible, we had to look for them to pay the check after we were forgotten for more than 20 min and the restaurant was not busy at all. Do not waist your money there if you are hungry go to the local supermarket and get something...
