We went for a day out to visit Calpe town during our holiday. As we were wondering, we came across Dracula restaurant, which is a very welcoming place from outside, so we decided to pop in,as we were scanning the menu we realised that not just the name but also authentic transylvanian food too. Staff members were multi languages with different nationalities, i can write many lines about our experience but to keep it short. You must go and experience yourself.. We went here for dinner and chose a table for two near a flower bedecked wall. Unfortunately we didn’t realise the flowers hid a door which led to a cupboard storing all the gas bottles for the kitchen. Part way through our meal the gas bottles had to be changed so we had to move our table along and put up with the smell of gas and the clunking of the bottles. We did however have a laugh and a joke with the waiter about this and we would go back to the restaurant again albeit sitting at a different table! The service was very good and all the waiters were pleasant and chatty We chose the prawns in garlic which were clean and delicious. We absolutely love this locals restaurant/ bar! The owners are hands on which is always a good sign of high quality. The staff are amazing and have been there for many years. For us, they all speak remarkable English and their enthusiasm and efficiency of service is superb. Our lovely lady chefs are great. Thank you Tuta and Irina! Best garlic prawns ever!!
