Wonderful food and atmosphere, the steak is always cooked to perfection and our favourite - the chateaubriand for two is a wonderful 2 course experience. Every time we come to calpe we make sure to have a meal here, especially if there is an occasion. The staff speak good English and are very welcoming and accommodating to your needs. The bathroom here is also very interesting - there are hairbrushes, perfumes, and hairspray available for your comfort.
The premises are very clean, and whilst we usually sit outside due to the time of year we visit, the inside is wonderfully decorated and cosy - perfect Swiss atmosphere paired with the traditional clothing worn by the waitresses. You are always provided with a warm welcome here, and often see the head chef and owner coming out to see the customers.
We have also been here many times for birthdays, they always bring out your dessert with candles and are excellent hosts for events and larger tables.
The only sad point is that they often run out of their best dessert - the chocolate mousse - due to high demand. This is home made and wonderfully airy, which explains the high demand for the treat. Other than this small point, overall the restaurant is a wonderful experience inclusive of atmosphere, service, food and knowledge of the craft. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high quality meal with a very fair price for what you receive.
