Salinas Mar: mediterranean cuisine and greek specialties — Restaurant in Calp

Popped by last night for a little bite- super unassuming place- some tables on the terrace, and a few inside. George- the proprietor couldn’t have been more hospitable and welcoming- we didn’t even need to look at a menu- he graciously suggested that he’d put some things together and we would let him know when we when was enough. Everything that came from George’s kitchen is homemade- so the Greek salad, hummus, and tzatziki with grilled breads were a perfect start. The mousakka and pork souvlaki that followed were excellent. Honestly- just pretense free place with a wonderful host and home cooked Mediterranean fare. Cannot wait to return on our next visit to Calpe! Thank you George! (And we made it...
