Whilst Mallorca is an island full of amazing places - some scenic, some traditional, others lively for example, it is those rare gems of places that are simply just so good, they are sufficient reason to visit the island all on their own, that rank above all others.
It might sound surprising, or perhaps contrived to say that Finnegan's ranks as one of those such places, but please let me assure you, it genuinely is.
Any Irish Bar of its salt should, by definition, be warm and welcoming. But as a frequenter of many (I guess being called Patrick helps), and indeed in many different countries, none have the warmth, friendliness, and wonderful harmony, music, and acoustics, to match Finnegan's, in my humblest of opinions. Mick himself is the proverbial entertainer, warm host, and all- round musical talent. There are many things I have sorely missed this last year or more due to Covid-19. But visiting Finnegan's to listen to them, has to rank up there as one of the biggest.
If you get the chance, pay Finnegan's a visit. We did some years back. And promptly went straight back again the very next night. And thereby have gone back again and again, repeatedly over the years since.
Once Covid easing affords it, I sincerely hope my family and I can do so once again as early...

Read moreJust returned last Tuesday from a week in Majorca, our second time to visit here. Went in 2022 and discovered Finnegans. What can I say it's definitely a home from home. Staff are just great so friendly. Mick from the bar so polite and friendly, also lovely girl from Donegal I didn't get her name but she was so nice, and of course Trish who we had many a chat with, part of the furniture and always seems in good form. Great to have good staff makes such a big difference. We ate here a lot having breakfast and dinner. I would actually go back tomorrow especially for the beef and Guinness pie, I've never in my life tasted anything so nice. Excellent. Mouthwatering. Was ragin I had it on our last night as I'd have eaten it every night. Music was exceptional too what a talented family. Girls are brilliant singers. Keep up the good work Finnegans. See you...
