Wonderful evening with wonderful local wines. I drank the local red very soft and agreeable on the palate. We had the local white as well very good. As a starter we had a salad with avocado and feta with tomatoes and lettuce very fresh and delicious. As a main we share the surf and turf took the stake medium was perfectly made and was heavenly. Despite our effort to communicate in Spanish, we experienced TERRIBLE SERVICE from an employee who spoke Spanish at the restaurant called Muell3 in Palmova.
Conversation: “Hello, we would like to have a drink.” The employee stared at me blankly and said nothing. Since he didn’t seem to understand, I then spoke to him in English: “Do you speak English?” He replied in English: “Yes, I speak English. And you? Do you speak Spanish?” We asked if we could smoke on the terrace, and he said no. We then told him that we were leaving. He responded aggressively: “So!? Are you staying or are you leaving!!!” We repeated that no, we were not staying. So, we left without consuming anything.
(I should note that we have studied Spanish for a year, so we study and practice it every day.) We are not in the habit of complaining for no reason, but dear restaurateur, it is time for you to evolve and not judge someone negatively without knowing them, regardless of their origin.

Read moreThis restaurant is the perfect example of how to run a local business and stand-out from the crowd. The location doesn't have sunset views over the sea and beach but I'd take their high quality service and standard of food at the right price over some of the far weaker places I've been to that rely entirely on a pretty Instagram-ready setting, any day! It's one of those places that when you go once on your holiday you actually want to return again and again beacause you realise that equalling or beating it is going to be pretty difficult! From the friendliness of the staff to the great production of tasty dishes, I highly...
